Re: The Forgotten - Hidden Gems of GR
Luamaewsa.png What a name, have some difficulties to type it right ! So what do we have here, seems a normal, classic GR circuit. So ? Well if you zoom a little more on the track, you'll see... a human silhouette in white like in crime scenes ? And tires trails that are heading to walls, with...

Re: [rwl] [cir] Ningbo International Circuit
I'm convinced that Maciej1 is not a human but a bot, maybe a collective of several computers churning away rwl circuits (and others) at inhuman volume and quality. In my darkest hours I see the beginning of SkyNet when I think of Maciej1. A perfect trackmaker sent from the future to destroy... I don...

Needs only a bit more polish and sharpening with the Lmap and object placement. Other than that I'd say a very nice layout and concept, keep at it!

Re: [cir] Perth Circuit
Nice work with both layouts zgr! Noticed that this layout has the exact same last corner, pit entry and main straight as Casilda. I've clearly liked that piece since I've used it in two different layouts. I have a lot of these little pieces of track, a corner or two or a main straight, that I've don...

Thanks for the kind words @Scholl Didn't do sunk tyres, because you really don't see them in modern day tracks anymore. They work great in GR tracks, yes, but I really wanted to do a plausible track (as in could exist), so no sunk tyres. And I think cones serve that purpose better now. As for the HM...

Thank gods this is done now... Some thoughts: -5 layouts -AI is intended to use the runoffs at the exits -I really hope there was an object of a parked car. Parking lots would be so much better to do... -Coming up with a Spanish/Portuguese name is tough. Especially when you don't speak neither. -Kar...

Re: [cir] Wexford
I must say that I really really like the style you went for in this track. Normally I felt like your tracks were just a little bit plain, but in this one the dithered areas really make the track a lot more interesting, while still keeping the old Qurpiz clean and elegant style :) Was this little ch...

Talk about getting stuck with a track
Started out with just that one corner at the bottom, and wanted the rest of the layout to be really, really fast. And then like in lot of my tracks, had to make some "new" parts for it.
So, yeah

It's flattering to have one of your own trackmaking idols say your work inspired them.
The track is of the usual Dragon quality. Which means it's pretty damn awesome.

Re: Official GeneRally feature request list
I don't remember if it was proposed, but it would be cool to have the track "box" wider. In times, when widescreen displays are more and more popular, having square track leaves wasted space at sides. Having it wider than taller would use the display area better. Possibly as an option. I ...
