I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but old save games don't work, it crashes GR v1.2. Expected behavior or no? Hi folks :)

It's been ages since I've released a track (first time under this name actually) so I hope you guys enjoy it :D I tried to go with a somewhat realistic look again, with better results this time. AI is fairly brutal at 100 in my opinion, but I'm not the greatest driver ever :taped:

@Shifted I personally don't like tracks that disappear at the edge of the screen, but others may like it.

Made some tweaks to my track, including the detailing of the track surface and tweaking the AI line to be a bit faster.

Haven't made a track in a long time. I've spent quite a bit of time off and on the past few weeks tweaking little things on this one. Anyone have any suggestions? I have to texture the track surface still, and some other small things (like the parking lot being empty!)

Make sure you're saving in 24bit bitmap. I've been editing using CS5 and MS Paint on W7 and have no issues.

Ahh, good old GeneRally. I'm glad we finally got an update so I can play again :) I'm Racer9 from RSC, I made a bunch of terrible tracks and one or two passable ones lol. Made a few cars as well. It's crazy to see all these new objects now, should be lots of fun to work a new track.

The GR community is bigger now than it was in '07-ish so I wouldn't really complain too much. At least I can play GR again with the new releases. Might throw together a track or something. I miss playing all the time. :(

I enjoy driving these, they're quite a challenge. Unfortunately the AI just doesn't seem to be up to it, they run wide at nearly every corner.
