Re: [cir] Minburgring

great, but the AI starts from the first corner so the race doesn't finish till you complete the AI lap rather than passing the final checkpoint.
It's a GR bug, rather than an error on your part, but the AI needs redoing.

lovely work on the lmap

Re: [rwl] [cir] Londrina

i think that this is too empty. Where are cars? I know it is difficult to draw cars but i think if you would want take more time, you would do it. it's a bit unfair to complain that he hasn't drawn cars. Drawing 3d objects in false perspective is really hard. I'm trying it for my next track and I k...

Re: [rwl] [cir] Londrina

very nice,

although can I suggest making the AI a little more difficult. The line sticks to the middle of the track at the moment so I was way ahead after the tow laps Perhaps run it closer to the apexes for some of the corners to make it a little more challenging?

Re: Track Ideas, W.I.P. Previews and Teasers v2

had a quick go. Kinda liked it, but are you going to use tyres to line the track? If so you end up using a lot more gas as the cars tend to get stuck on them for a second or two. Right now you can only just get two laps done before you need to pit. I've noticed with GR that if you collide with other...

Re: [stc] [ral] Shibuya

the track looks great, and fantastic work on texture …but it's almost unplayable. You really need to add pits, especially for such a narrow course. I raced it three times and non of the cars managed more than 2 laps before they were badly damaged, so everyone was crawling round for the rest of the r...

good job fella. Just noticed the subtle switch to yellow & red apex kerbs for the winter season for better visibility. Wonderful detail!

no problem you asking.

I'll work on the road lines as that comment is coming up a lot.

Re: [roa] Moncour - fast, technical, with railway & autobahn

thanks for the feedback. The road lines are all part of the texture from photoshop, so they're not actually ice. I think they look a little blotchy as they're slightly narrower than the motorway lines (intentional), but perhaps they end up being between 1 and 2 pixels and the conversion to 4bit is m...

Re: [roa] Moncour - fast, technical, with railway & autobahn

does snake editor let you make your own objects? Or do you mean it lets you align things accurately? If you're referring to alignment, then for these kind of tracks [roa], I prefer walls that don't look too perfect. I design the landscape as if it were real, and then make the track accommodate the l...

Re: [roa] Moncour - fast, technical, with railway & autobahn

Who doesn't want to drive on a railway line though?
and couldn't make the Autobahn three lanes as the GR bridge crossing it is a bit too small as is.

Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the comment.

[roa] Moncour - fast and technical UPDATED

Edit:Following the feedback (much appreciated) I've improved the road texture, tweaked object placement and made it easier to understand the layout quickly. A fast and technical track based on European landscapes. Lots of long stretches with a couple of corners that need a little practice to perfect...

thanks,

will do that next time. I have another track ready to upload save a last check.
I generally overlap the barriers, but must have missed a gap or two.

Thanks for the feedback!

[stc] Van City - short & fast with lots of drifting

Hello chaps, I've dug up my long lost registration after finding GeneRally again and would like to share my first public track. vanCity.jpg It's a figure of 8 track with a couple of challenging parts, 3 levels of height variation and a choice of routes in one corner. It's very loosely based on my ti...
