Yes but it looks strange that you can see sand on the track only in one straight, and none in the other parts (external side of curves etc..). I would say: do it well or don't do it :shy: I suggested to smooth hmap because that way it looks a bit unrealistic :( You are right about lines, it's just ...

@GRF: i don't agree with all of Darjos suggestions. the white trackborders (small racingclubs don't have the bucks to paint stuff on their tarmac *g*), and the dirt on the track (that poor racingclub sold their brooms). also, i wouldn't smooth the hmap too much. otherwise you won't see the elevation...
