Re: Car Reupload Requesting Thread
Does anyone have 1987 CART IndyCars? I've kinda been wanting them for like 9 years now lol.

Re: Car Reupload Requesting Thread
I recall there having been 1967 and 1970 NASCAR cars made for GeneRally way back when. Would anyone happen to have any of those? Anything similar?

Re: The car request thread
It's easy enough to make your own, just take a car, delete all the polies, and save it. I find modifying the shape of a car is rather easy. It's very difficult to make one though. Just confusing and the only tutorial I've found is... lacking, to me. No offence intended to anyone; I just kind of suc...

A car "template" that people are allowed to modify would be really cool.

Re: Can't use Juan's Car Editor
Thank you; I appreciate that.
It's surprising to me that there are so few car making tutorials. I think there WERE more, back in the RSC days, but I could be imagining things.

Re: Can't use Juan's Car Editor
THANK YOU. That worked wonders. ^_^
Also: is there any kind of... template car I can download or something? Or maybe another car making tutorial other than the one by "Genetleman"? I'm really struggling with this car making thing.

Can't use Juan's Car Editor
I mean, I can. It opens up fine, but I am unable to edit the model. I will click the "model" button and it WILL show up as another window of the program in the task bar, but even if I select that Window nothing shows up; as if it's not there. It's sort of hard to describe the problem, I ho...

Re: Open source Generally?
Yeah, sorry for the other thread. I should have looked at this. If I'm being honest, this is really quite disappointing. If it's going to be kept closed source, then there ought to be a reason for it. Making an updated version and selling it or something, I can see. I would pay for it. For it to rem...

Sorry for the triple post. I wasn't into Generally for a while, as school (CS Majoy) got in the way. I'll be trying to make a fixed version of this program soon.

I ask because I really want to help work on it, as I do have programming experience, and that's the only way I can see myself getting to help.

Re: Sunoco's Driver Editor
Yeah, I haven't updated it yet, but because Generally 1.10 has been released, I'll be updating this. Expect a new, working version to be out soon. I'll fix the issues with the 255 limit.

Re: Sunoco's Driver Editor
Because of an issue relating to values larger than 255 and corrupting files, I'll be making modifications to the program. Because I'm very busy with school I can't say when I'll get the new version up. Also, if you have any issues with corrupted files please send me a copy so I can try and work it o...

Re: An open letter to GeneRally community from James and Ric
SDL can use OpenGl, so that won't be an issue. OpenGl's also arguable easier to work with than DirectX.

Re: An open letter to GeneRally community from James and Ric
This is fantastic news. An SDL port means that there's a possibility the game could become cross platform, and that's a big deal. Considering that I mainly use Linux both at home and at school, having GeneRally run natively on Linux would be awesome. SDL 's also easier to work with than DirectX in m...

Re: Sunoco's Driver Editor
Files shouldn't be corrupted by the program. If it happens, please let me know and I'll fix it. The only problem I think might arise is when you have numbers higher than 255. You can't store a number larger than that in a single byre, so things may get weird there. Not sure. That's the reason the tr...

Sunoco's Driver Editor
With this tool you can easily edit driver files, specifically the drivers statistics. I thought this app would be useful for creating real-life drivers with real-life statistics. You can also convert drivers from ai to human and back again, just like in my previous program. I hope you like this app,...
