Finding specific cars?
Is there a way to search through .cars files other than opening them and looking? I have a myriad of cars files and some loose sound files and would like to match them up again, but I tread having to open each and everyone to find the right car.

Re: Other motorsport discussion *spoiler*
It was one of the hottest LMs since they ran hybrids. If you're running cutting edge technology it's going to fail if you push the envelope too much. I'm fine with that since that is the whole point of racing. What worries me more is the lack of P1s in general 6 cars is not a healthy number.

Re: Other motorsport discussion *spoiler*
While I have no issue with binning the car in a non championship event from second place. Pushing a car out of the way and parking the damaged car in the middle of the road are a big no no. So I can see where Engel is coming from. That said if I dont want to get rid of SvG as my teammate I'd discuss...

Re: Stupid question regarding cars and physics
It's been a long time, but I seem to recall the rears are the driven set of wheels. Obviously you can switch them around and make a FWD by having the rears in front of the front wheels in the model. I seem to faintly remember someone trying to emulate AWD by having one driven wheel on the front and ...

Re: Other motorsport discussion *spoiler*
If the rear pods weren't there they would hit the tires instead. The pods are a safety feature meant to prevent launch crashes, so they won't be going anywhere. Not necessarily, the pods dont take up the same space as the tyres. Yes some would hit the tyre but in the edge cases where you stick the ...

Re: Other motorsport discussion *spoiler*
Dimensions are the same but the manufacturers got the option of developing their own aero kits on the spec chassis. I have a feeling that the elimination of the rear pods would help with the issue. Several drivers damaged the front wing due to hitting those. If they are gone there is just empty space.

Well its a render not the actual car, so is the Williams. Bit boring to look at, but it helps to the teams to hide the details.

Very similar to the Merc wing from last season. The smaller connection area makes the wing work better.Mad Dan wrote: It is weird to see the front wing connected to nose by such small part of those plates it looks quite fragile to my eyes .

The forum works perfectly fine, IMO there is no need to change it. Only thing I'd like to see added would be dark skin, something with a black or dark grey background to make it easier to use at night.

BTW anybody knows why exactly 18", please? To me it looks like from one extreme to another, I'd prefer 15/16". From what I remember it was a condition of Pirelli coming into F1, but the series pushed the introduction back indefinitely at the time. Dunno why the are now going for 1...

Le Mans is going to use the a Code 60 inspired approach this year. IIRC the idea was originally developed for the Nurburgring 24h race

Just write the black text. The computer only matches the black text. The pictures in those captchas are used for picture to text conversion.
