Re: Question about compos
Welcome to the forums, Davesdewas. I moved your question and Kikwik's reply to this new thread as your question wasn't really related to the original thread.

Re: [cir] Natura Park
Thanks for the long comment, Kikwik, much appreciated. :hattip: I can't tell where you find this will but it's sure welcomed Well, this is my all-time favorite game and trackmaking is the best part. I may have long stretches of inactivity but the urge to make a new track always comes at some point. ...

This time I felt like making a medium-sized, classic circuit. The hmap is quite extensive even though you really see it only in some places. The AI has been designed for the original Formula.
Hope you enjoy and please leave a comment.

Re: [cir] Buckie
Thanks a lot for the comments, mates. :) To be honest, there's little confusion for me, because the layout seems to make cars sticked to the tamac, but because the WS is to big, it's hard to make the lap fluent and keep the balance between velocity and the smooth driving. But that's also I lame in d...

Wanted to make a traditional track and after several false starts was happy with this layout. Buckie is easy to learn but hard to master. It was designed for hotlapping but the AI races are tight, too. As usual, the AI has been designed for the original Formula.
Have fun!

Re: Joint Effort Track Project
Didn't even think of looking at the track description. Whoever goes next can just add my name to the list.
I didn't notice anything peculiar about the track width. I don't mind changing the WS.

Re: Joint Effort Track Project
Alright, here's my piece. I immediately had a vision of the pits being like this. As the area started by BRIX wasn't wide enough, whoever makes the finishing touches has to fix that dangerous armco barrier. This was fun. Continuing somebody else's work is surely challenging. Hadn't participated in J...

Re: Joint Effort Track Project
I think we could make the next one sort of free-for-all, first come first served -type of project. So whoever POSTS the next piece first. I agree that we shouldn't have to wait. However, I think we should still say that we're working on it. It'd be a pity to make a good square just to see someone a...

Re: Joint Effort Track Project
Crowella: That looks good but is there a chance of having an alternative layout that doesn't run over the church?
BRIX: That's a great start! I can take part in this.

This is a masterpiece, your best track also in my eyes. On the ideal line you're always next to a disaster and I love it. Not only is the flow great, it also looks stunning. The banked roundabout is fun. I can't find anything negative even if I try to.

Re: [stc] Adelaine Street Circuit
This is serious fun. The AI is surely competetive and the walls are dangerously close - just the way I like it! I'm not a big fan on the tightpit/start straight entry though. The blue cones seem a bit out of place but I understand their function. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for bringing something different to the forums. I'd say [stc] isn't correct tag though, this is clearly an [oth]. I like how this looks and the timelapse is fun to watch. Personally, I'm not a fan of tracks where there are head-on collisions but we definitely need well crafted track...

Re: What kind of controller do you use?
AAh, cool! I've been looking at one to buy, but I thought it was a bit expensive, at the time, but now I'm a bit richer. We'll see. I really like the controller I modded myself. :-) But is it as good as it looks? The Logitech one? I'm really bad at comparing but I've liked it, feels good with GeneR...

Great to see new trackmakers around here. It's a solid start, I must say. The layout is nice. However, as XYY said, the AI hitting the sunk tyres is annoying. Anyway, hope to see more tracks from you.

I like the visual style but I'm not a fan of the possibility of cutting so much corners. The original Formulas hit the bridge entry bad. Said that, great to see you back, hope you make more tracks.

I haven't played GR in half a year but I'm so glad there was one rally track waiting for me. I like the style a lot, or should I say the mixture of styles. Of course it's driving that matters and that is fun! Definitely a keeper.

Why aren't there any comments on this beauty yet? It's definitely the best Spa there is IMHO - and I've tested them all within last year.
