Looking for graphic software with stamp tool

Post by Leander »

I had a freeware program with a stamp tool. You could select racing track parts and simply build a track with them without using the original track editor.

I can't find it anymore on my external hard disk drive nor do I remember its name.

No MS Paint, no Gimp...it had a zoom function with a microscope as its icon. And was linked from the old GeneRally site.

Any ideas?

Thanks but I already have that. It isn't a tool for GeneRally only but a full graphics software. It is some kind of advanced Paint...but not Paint.net nor Gimp. You can use stamps/stickers with different motives...racing tracks, flowers, butterflies and more. I'm not sure but I think the racing stickers were an addon made by some GeneRally guy...I'm not sure though.

The name uses a reference to popular software...something with paint or photo...or shop...I've been looking everywhere but can't find it... :(

I think Rich Nagel posted those but don't remember for what program he intended them.

No, no commercial software. It was an indy one...a freeware solution with nice features. Ah, this is so frustrating...I don´t understand why I Google doesn´t list it as recommended freeware.

Fiiiinally.....!!!!!! After searching for some hours and clicking on dozens of links I found it! And yes, "paint" is indeed in its name. The program is called Neopaint!

It is not freeware though. There is a fully-functional trial version available. I think I remember creating lots of tracks in no time before the trial expired.

And here is the stamp function and the butterflies.

EDIT I also found the stamp pack. Rick Nagel made it!!!
