If you just want it not to be that instable, I'd suggest you to move the (invisible) head down. And if it's still too extreme you should edit the drift value
But I dont know what you mean with

it won't stay grounded!

btw, some other tips (when I saw v1.1)
- flip the poly n27
- use colour 90 or 184 for windows
- not so detailed strips at the cars sides, but proper headlights instead of them.
- why do you need 2 polies at the bottom?
