Problem with flat bridges.

Why sometimes my cars fly afer flat bridges?
I am doing a track named "Serravalle", but it doens't go if i do not solve this problem.

Its the so called "flat bridge bug". Try inversing the racing direction, usually this helps...

I don'T know why this happens, but you CAN get it working when you have the same height at both parts of the bridge. So if you want to change the height after the bridge it should be a lot after the bridge's end. If you understand what I mean ;)

I remeber there was discussion about that at RSC. I think it had somthing to do with downforce of car :shrug:

Cars with high downforce values sometimes go "under" the bridge and will never come back...
but if you make a track it should usually be possible to use it with all cars and not with e.g. downforce 45 cars :D
If there was a discussion at :rsc: , what solution did they have?

I found the solution. The heigth no needs only to be equal: also need be plain for...huh... 100 pixels.

1st of all, we don't close topics for no reason.

Then, the real solution is to make the hmap changes at the edge of the bridge smooth - has always worked for me. Meaning instead of |_| make the hmap transitions more like \_/
