How to change the completed laps to laps to complete?

Post by Thunderstrucker »

Since I know, GR counts the completed laps in a race. I mean, that when the race begins, the racer's HUD shows "1 0", "2 0", "3 0", etc.
How to change the "0" to a "1"?
I downloaded a new GR, because mine was crashing too much, too many tracks and cars, and other things that I didn't know, but that one counted the laps to complete, and then Otto Wilson offered me to a time attack race (save the replay and race against it's ghost) that didn't worked out. That changed the laps to complete counter to the completed laps counter. If you know what I mean, please tell me how to change it. :|

You mean you want the lap counter to start at 1 instead of 0? I don't know how you could do that, other than somehow modifying the .exe, which of course no one knows how to do. I guess you could make a font that had a "1" where a "0" should be, but that would mess up the rest of the HUD...
I like short, simple signatures!

Maybe this should be a suggestion, which is lap display preference. Players can either have the lap counter to start at 0 or 1, depending on their liking :)
Y'all, I just woke up... what did I miss?

I'd like if the lap counts a 1 instead of a 0, that was what I meant, bduddy.
Someone knows how to change it?
