I'm not going to write a readme, as the official one is good enough. If you have problems, then you're most likely doing something wrong.

If you're absolutely sure you've done everything according to the readme (also chose the right version of Microsoft Visual Studio 2010), you can try any or all of the following:

- uninstall the current and install the other Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 (either the x64 or x86 version)
- copy the MSCVP100.dll to the Windows/System32 folder
- register the MSCVP100.dll with the "Regsvr32" command via the "run" window (screenshot included, make sure you type the correct path to your .dll file)
- throw your pc through the window and go ride a bike

I have solved it by myself, I uninstalled the the 64-bit and installed the 32-bit and guess what, it worked. :cool2:
I almost did the last one, but its rainy outside. :P

So yeah, I didnt do anything wrong, the GR just needs that 32-bit thingy

Typical situation, when the issue is located somewhere between the keyboard and the chair. All, including your discovered solution, is already written in other thread related to it, so I'm afraid, that you didn't read it enough carefully. The topic is btw far away from telling just ''read the readme''.

BTW, if you want something, try next time to avoid abusing people, please. :really: I'm quite surprised, that egamad bothered with answer. He's likely an .

Or I decided to take Sutinen's words for a joke, which is way more likely than your explanation. :P

But I agree with Ivo, if you would have used search or browsed the forum a little, you could have easily found your answer without any hassle. :geek:

Apologise for bump, but wouldn't it be easier if the files were included in the actual Generally .zip? The first 8 versions (1.00 beta through 1.05ce) all had the necessary library files included so why hasn't this version got them? Just a suggestion.
Look to the left ----------------> that's to the right, mate :(

Well...
The Runtimes would increase size of the .zip.
There are two versions, so there should be both in the pack.
Some people got them already installed, so they don't need them.
I don't know, if it would be legal. It might be, I didn't make any research about distributing Microsoft's free stuff.

Having them more times in PC causes crash. I have now 10 operational GR copies in PC ... I would have delete it always from new-made to prevent problems. Better to add just install link IMHO.
