Hi everybody. It's been some months since I last posted on this forum and I'm coming back for a question!
Allright, so I am in a really interesting situation, because I am now living in another country for one year (as an exchange student) and since I couldn't bring my computer, I bought a laptop.
Now, the problem is that I got the newer photoshop cs5, and I can't edit land map properly. The problem is that I can't find a way to set the software to use only the track palette colors. Does anyone know how to do that?
Do you think that the most simple solution would be to get back to photoshop cs3? (I used to use that one for trackmaking when I used my other computer). I'd rather use cs5 if I could get it to work anyways...
Edit: I got the same problem on Windows 7's version of Paint :/

Re: Lmap in Photoshop cs5
at least for the W7 Paint it's a common known problem. Get XP paint then.

Re: Lmap in Photoshop cs5
Like with MS Paint Win7+ vs older versions, solution is to download somewhere an older version, which you're familiar with. Also Gimp is and option, has no issues with GR lmap specifics. But I don't have Photoshop, so sadly neither I can give you hint, how to solve it by cleanest way of altering settings, you'll rather find the answer in some photoshop FAQ / community.

Re: Lmap in Photoshop cs5
I have Photoshop CS5 Extended but I don't have problems with GR Colors. I have them on pallette.
Sorry for my bad English!

Make sure you're saving in 24bit bitmap. I've been editing using CS5 and MS Paint on W7 and have no issues.

I somehow got it to work now, I'm so happy!
