Post by timmyc »

Just wondering....

How is it possible to create higher resolution screenshots? All i can seem to do is 320x240.

F12 for higher-res screenshots if you're not running 320x280.

BTW, you can modify the size of the F11 screenshot in the gr.ini

Search for these lines

Code: Select all

; Screenshot width and height apply to screenshots saved by pressing F11
; Defaults: 320, 240
ScreenshotWidth = 320;
ScreenshotHeight = 240;
And modify as you wish

For the forums, it would be best to change that to either 640x480, or even better, 800x600.

Thanks, that's a great idea.

I was thinking that... 800x600 is the highest permitted resolution, isn't it?

Yes indeed, at least it was the case in RSC.

800*600 and should be in JPG or PNG or in GIF. BMPs aren't allowed

And I'd suggest jpg, unless you are uploading a logo or something with an alpha channel.
