Default settings?
Default settings?
After playing around a little on the Go!Go!K tracks, I decided to fool with the tyre wear, fuel consumption, and damage values. Unfortunately, I don't remember what the defaults are. Can they be posted in the FAQ or stickied?

Re: Default settings?
Just deleting the "Options.SET" in your GR folder will do the job doesn't it?Maxaxle wrote:After playing around a little on the Go!Go!K tracks, I decided to fool with the tyre wear, fuel consumption, and damage values. Re: Default settings?
Or you could also just replace the original downloaded file.
Re: Default settings?
For me that would last too long

Last track: Meadowdale Raceways - Last car: Ford Falcon GTHO Phase III
All of my tracks

Replace what? And why?Quklis wrote:Or you could also just replace the original downloaded file.
Re: Default settings?
I think he means that you should copy your cars and tracks in a new folder but IMO this would last too long..

Re: Default settings?
He meant overwrite file Options.set by the one from original zip.
My GR Racing Stats; thanks to GWR!
Re: Default settings?
Except I set the download to "open" and not "save" (using Internet Explorer terms, I know).Ivo Porc wrote:He meant overwrite file Options.set by the one from original zip.

1,27 mb is way too much to be downloaded againMaxaxle wrote:Except I set the download to "open" and not "save" (using Internet Explorer terms, I know).Ivo Porc wrote:He meant overwrite file Options.set by the one from original zip.
Re: Default settings?
Well yeah, deleting one file sounds quite a lot faster than searching for a site to download GR, downloading it, extracting it.
But what I think is the best is to define your own "defaults", the sort of values that you like and because of that you can remember them easily.

Re: Default settings?
Hum, yes, but some of us have default gamepack in their computers e.g. as base for creating compopacks and so one, so they don't need to re-download always.

Re: Default settings?
If I ever needed to revert, I just need to delete cars and tracks.Ivo Porc wrote:Hum, yes, but some of us have default gamepack in their computers e.g. as base for creating compopacks and so one, so they don't need to re-download always.
