Polies disappearing, showing through etc at certain angles

Post by StingerTheRaven »

Hello world;

On my first car, unfortunately 2 polies on the front disappear when the car's front is pointed mostly towards the camera.
the problem
the problem
I believe I know the cause, but it'd force me to redo much of the car, something I don't feel like doing right now.

For reference, here's the front 3/4 of said car:

and the undercarriage, which I believe partially responsible if GR renders stuff how I think it does (IE not caring about if polies are obstructed)
the bottom, which is probably the cause

For closer inspection, here is the car for download;

I call it the "Car WIP"

Thanks.
Yes, that really is my first car. Spent way too long on it.

Polygons:
34, 18, 5, 8, 21 is a problem.

You have to remove 34 polygon and change other.

My suggestion

BTW: Model idea looks great.
Sorry for my English :D

Thank you, that solution works perfectly. I have no other problems.

Also, glad you like it. I'll have to release it some time soon, didn't take me too long and I too think that, as an open-top, it looks nice.
