Problem with Car Editor 1.0

I decided to give my carmaking skills another try. Unfortunately, when I open CE 1.0 nothing happens when I click the icons. Moreover, the cursor turns into the loading icon. I downloaded and pasted the dlls into the installation folder. Do you have any advise how to fix it. I use 64-bit Win 7.

Try running it as admin. Unfortunately carmaker 1.0 was released as-is, so it's kind of a beta almost.

Try copy dlls to C:\Windows\System32\

I get notifications (xyz.ddl is missing). I download them and but them into the CarEditor folder. But you done that if I read your first post correct.

But strange thing, even with your cursor. Maybe the last thing I know is change the "compatibility" under "settings" (right click on the exe.

It looks something like this (german in this screenshot):

Try to resize the window. I don't remember exactly where you can do this (probably by clicking on the icon down on tray, with right button) and switch to previous view.

I don't know if it can be done on win7, but I remember once that helped me out in a similar case.
