Playing GeneRally on Win7 x64

Post by david999 »

Hello,

First of all, i am using Win7 x64.
I downloaded the game, missing dll files, and after all i tried to start the game through Trackeditor (as administrator too), but still nothing more than the same error message (0xc000007b). What can i do now ?!

Thanks for help,
Sorry for my spelling, i never learned english.

Are you sure that (the correct) MSVC++ 2015 Runtime library is installed?

And sometimes individual DLL or OCX files must be manually registered to properly support functions. At least I found it helpful on my old Windows 7 machine.

Also, you might find some ideas inside the dedicated thread.

Have you tried executing the game with backwards compatibility? I have not read everything above but maybe that is a solution? What about downloading an older version of GeneRally and seeing if it works?
