GENERALLY CAR MODELLING CHAMPIONSHIP v1.0 [AI] [TT]

This is AI championship whith 3 stages! Idea is simple: you make car to conform to the rules, send to me and then using your car AI will make Time Trial.

How we play:
You make car model. Next, you set car settings. You have some starting settings (R 3.2), and then increase it, choosing from (R 3.4) . Make test you car on track, and look which characteristics better. Driver will be AI 100! When you make your car, you send me *.car file and text whith points (how it will look, in rules next). I will make your time trial on my computer, and create replays, 1-6 positions 5-11... Whith your position you get points.

Points system will be as F1 2010.

IN EACH STAGE YOU CAN MAKE ANOTHER CAR WHITH ANOTHER SETTINS!


Game settings:
Tyre wear: 1%,
Fuel consumption: 7%,
Fuel mass: 30kg,
Damage: 10%,
Game speed: 100%
Race length : 7 km;


Regulations:


1)Model:
1.1) You can make model by yourself. You can use car model that you like, but don't forget about copyrights.
1.2) Size of model can't have big difference between car size.
1.3) Car size:
Choose your car size:
Size X: from 0,6 to 2
Size Y: from 0,3 to 0,8
Size Z: from 1,5 to 2,5

2)Fixed settings. All settings that write on this picture must be fixed!
Settins whith yellow square can be changed, follow the next rules.

3) Car settings.

3.1) Free settings:
This settings you choose as you want within the limits:

Sliding : from 0 to 1 ;
Balance : from 0,5 to 1,5 ;
AI Value : from 2 to 9 ;


3.2) Starting settings:
Next you see some abbreviation:

AR = Air Resistance;
DW = Downforce Wings
P = Powe
M = Mass
Top = Top Speed
GR = Grip on Tarmac 1 and Tarmac 2; And grip on Kerb 1 and Kerb 2 minus (0,1).

If you have grip on tarcmac (1,95) your grip on kerbs will be minus (0,1) and equal (1,85)

At first your car will have this settings, and then you will increase it (decrease only Air Resistance and Mass).

Start settings
AR = 1,8
DW = 70
P = 90
M = 200
GR = 1,4
Top = 50

3.3)How it work:

Look on table below. There are 6 options. Each can give you two characteristics. One point can give you one of this characteristics. At second column wrote how much give you one point. In next column, how much such points you have. You distribute points, choosing how much increase (or decrease) characteristic.

For example whith aerodinamic:
30 points to AirResistance 70 points to DownforceWings
30 *(-0,01) = (-0,3) AR 70 *(1)= 70 DW
Then you increase you start settings of AR on (-0,3) and DW on (70)
In another option, you increase some settings again.


3.4) Choosing settings to increase.

In result:

After making model, choosing settings, tests on track, in result you save your car and :
1)Send to me car file.
2)Send your table with points!

Just btw, why everyone has own timetrial? Would be much intresting with first qualifyings and then an actual race.

AI HL = very big random)... and I try to make champ shorter, because it's test.

Haruna was making a similar compo... have you considered talking to him? It's hard enough for manager things like this to get off the ground, better to combine them IMO...
I like short, simple signatures!
