Undecided at the moment. I am ok with just pairing with another individual to create a free-agent team of sorts.

The pack is now online (in the first post), teams can already make training sessions. Stints will be 20 kms long each (27 laps).

There is a "12h-Lombon readme" file and a "SavegameReader.jpg" picture, please pay attention!

You'll see that when you edit your starting grid and you put your car at first position, you'll start in fact at 3rd place. You must respect the "SavegameReader.jpg", if so, the correct starting position in race will be:
-1st: "2AI" - LMP1/SPC1 - Peugeot 908 Hdi (blue and white)
-2nd: "3AI" - LMP1/SPC1 - Audi R15 Tdi (grey)
-3rd: YOU - LMP2/SPO1 - Your imagination (you choose)
-4th: "4AI" - LMP2/SPO1 - Porsche Spyder (black)
-5th: "5AI" - GT2/GTC - Porsche 997 (white & orange)
-6th: "6AI" - GT2/GTC - Ferrari F430 (red & yellow)

Warning, you'll have to respect carefully the order of the "SavegameReader.jpg" picture for EVERY stint because we'll start from the pitlane at stint 2 & 3. (more info with pictures soon)

First post updated with the rules.

If there are enough teams for an interesting subcategories, I'll made an overall team classification and also a disctinct "rookie team" classification.

"Rookie team" must have 2 drivers who are in the "Bronze" or "Silver" classes according to according to GRO rules

Don't hesitate to contact a team leader or a free driver to have a valid team with 2 drivers!

As you can read it in the rules and in the readme file of the pack:
Start the race, save it directly, quit the game an open your save game with "SavegameReader.exe", then you MUST alter the starting position of EVERY cars like the "SavegameReader.jpg" picture. When it's done, you are ready to make your stint.
You'll have to edit the starting position for every car and also for every stint. It's very important to respect that because we'll start 2nd & 3rd stint from the pit (to simulate a change of driver).

Here are the pictures taken at the start of the 2nd & 3rd stint (you can see the picture for the 1st stint in the first message of the topic). We are in the green car so we'll start 2nd & 3rd stint from the first pit.

You can notice the position of the other cars, we'll start 2nd stint just behind the two LMP1 cars.

We'll start 3rd stint in between them but DON'T FORGET the virtual blue flag, you'll have to let pass the 2nd LMP1 rapidly. (It reminds me that I have to edit the rules because I've forget to speak about the blue flags in it)

mplume, you asked me if I wanted to join your competition. Well I just have a couple of questions to ask.

1. You keep talking about "Logging in", such as in this competition rule...
Login time is between 04/30/2011 & 05/10/2011 (GMT 23:59:59). You've got 30 minutes after your login to delivered your files.
Login where? To this forum, or what? How? Why? Also, how would you know if, once I 'logged in', I didn't immediately play GeneRally afterwards, or played longer than 30 minute, or restarted, or raced the stints before logging in?

2. What exactly is 'wallbouncing'? Every competition seems to mention this, but it's never explained what it is.

I assume mplume will post the login link when the login window starts. The idea is to make sure everyone drives only once. You'll get a unique track from there which you can't get beforehand, and you have time just to do one race. Due to fact of a unique track you can't possibly race on it before the login.
2. What exactly is 'wallbouncing'? Every competition seems to mention this, but it's never explained what it is.
Wallbouncing is hitting the wall in a favorable way and gaining advantage from it instead of driving the track the realistic way. I guess that in case of your track, even wall-riding is bad.

-Thanks TuomoH for the correct answer to ACM (btw, feel free to join this competition).

-It's great to see the author of the track driving in the competition ! :bg:
And ACM, if you don't care about your 2nd driver, maybe you'll be agree to join Areen in his "GRPL Team" (he's also alone) ? (I'm sure Areen we'll be happy to drive with you)

-Salo Racing is still unregistered, don't forget to register Trigger & Buka :shy:

I assumed that GRPL stands for GeneRally Poland, and it's only looking for Polish players.

If it doesn't matter though, and Areen doesn't mind, then fine, put me on GRPL Team.
