The third place on podium was occupied by Akouk who celebrated his 60 race in ToM this weekend (equaling Tony and Jo.sk if we aren't mistaken) and who also was awarded by Hykie organizers with a pink Yankee and two lasses ( ):

And of course - the podium: Maclape is thanking his team, AleksiNir is disappointed being beaten by Maclape again and Akouk is just happy for his nice result in the anniversary race.

Choose yourself before AIs, change starting positions to 'points' in settings and you will always start from the top.

I think the idea behind was to start from P2 after considering pole not best for start at this track. In that case good old savegame reader helps.

I could live with that new nickname if it was so. The track for round 4 was "Estrada 2", am I right? The car I had to choose was "Mini", am I right? Racelength was 30 km, right? So wtf was wrong? I did my 30km race with Mini on a track called "Estrada 2", that I just took out of the ToM 2009 track package.

I really liked round 5, too, although I was held up by AIs more than I would've liked. I'm hoping for a similar result as last week .

Strange, I race much better when I use the PCs in the library at school instead of my Mac. Not sure why.

Thanks . It's taking me a while, but it's starting to come. Competition is a lot higher than it was 7-9 years ago (Indy 500 aside) and I'm quite rusty. I was hoping for a top 10 by the end of the season, and now that goal is complete . Now it's a top 6 by the end of the season, but if I don't get there that's ok. I'm happy to see an old buddy like you winning races!

Sorry for this big delay with post-race's analysis. Difficult week with so few time.

But here it comes finally. Beautiful Estrada 2 happened to be not as amazing as I expected it to be. The track requires fast cars while we had to drive extremely slow Mini. Really, ToMputer has weird sense of humour. Nevertheless TuomoH felt quite good himself on his 40th race and showed that old dogs still have impressive skills and like wine only become better with time. He finished first with comfortable lead while Akouk had a lot of troubles trying not to let Croatian star Alonso to overtake him. AleksiNir probably would want one more lap as he did quite impressive finish lap and missed the podium with tiny 0.04 sec. But still he managed to set the fastest lap as well as maclape did who finished 5th followed by Hangman. It's worth to mention that Rich K. and bgcatfan showed their best performance so far in ToM S8 - 7th and 8th. Nolb after negotiations was returned to 21st place.

After this race AleksiNir's still leading, maclape not far behind. 3 racers are fighting for the 3rd place. Still 4 races to go and everything may change.

Nolb - don't rename tracks.

Now about pictures. PF card shows once again 3 finishes. Very close finish of Akouk, Alonso and AleksiNir, then - in the top - between Apex and Dany (yes, we had nice battles in the tail too), and the last - it's Cristiano who beated Reh with 0.18 sec. Close enough to be showed here.

People on the podium are TuomoH - who is celebrating his 10th victory in 2011, Akouk - though he wants to be on Tuomo's place but he is happy for his old rival, and Alonso - thinking what is better victory in GeneRally Rookie Championship or third place in ToM

The position picture was taken after 3:07 minutes of race - maclape is finishing his 6th lap. TuomoH stays far behind and waiting his chance.
