Always apart from endurance races since there it gets too confusing after many laps. But yes, it's way more exciting this way. :yummy:

Sorry for double post but my qualy was a disaster. Usually I love street courses but this is something I'm not comfortable with. :kickcan:

My first session on my new laptop and my first session in Florida (I stay here until June). I had three or four incidents but I managed to race faster than in practice. So I hope for another top 6 finish because I want to see myself in the first replay. Podium is unlikely but it would be great.

My race was not really good, but I also only once had damage in the lap I was going to visit the pits anyway. The only really silly thing was that I raced on my training track for the first 1,5 laps and so I restarted my race on the login track :vsad:

That's extremely disappointing - I've watched replays and some drivers crossed pit line every time with premeditation - so basically you are saying that those whose raced according to rules are in worse position, right?

"nearly every driver makes a fault" - so give penalties to "nearly every driver".

I have to say I'm a bit surprised about this too, not only here but at other races too (e.g. Hockenheim). Kuba is right, us who try to race according to rules are in disadvantage, not that it has really decided any races. Why to have such rule if it's not enforced?

Congrats to the winner, great performance. :bg:

so I have to recognize that F1 racing ist a serious thing and follow the letters of the rules:

___________________

11.8 If a driver crosses the line at the pit exit, he will be reprimanded first before a penalty
depending of the gravity of the offence is given.

Reprimand is given to: akouk, XYY, Buka and Quick Nick for crossing pit line exit.
Next races 5 sec penalty for these drivers when crossing pit line exit.

___________________

11.6 If a driver cuts short, bounces off walls or uses any other objects to gain an advantage,
he will be given a penalty depending of the gravity of the offence.

As the Valencia Track has a clear defined pit entry, I give last warning to these drivers
for cutting yellow/red field at pit entry:
akouk, kuba, mszostus, happy412, VNL and Dany

In Valencia or when did I make that mistake?
Does it mean we have to drive between the white lines until the outer (in the middle of the track) ends?

XXY, you can't cut white line on the pit-lane exit - at the picture below on the left there are you cutting it, on the right - how you should exit pit stop.

I like to here that - PGRF1 is for fun, but for fun with the rules ;)

Now, I don't feel good by saying this, but what did I do different than TuomoH? We did three identical pit entrances and I didn't hit any pit crew ;)
(referring to TuomoH because he's clear of warnings)

Yes, you both did identical pit entrances, but TuomoH did very clear pit exit and you didn't.

That's a fair question actually. But hitting the pit crew slowed me down a bit so I didn't gain advantage by it. ;)

hi mates

unfortunately I'm ill with heavy flu in this days, that's why I could not participate in last race

I hope I am able to do the qualy and race in Monza (I really hope so, since I'm Italian) but sure I won't have time to train, so I expect to be at the end of our group (IF I'm able to run)

Sorry for my absences and good runs to all of you

a weird session took place for me as I started with failed attempts to go through the chicanes, then I reached my (short) practice lap time, then I went out of track and the right streering stopped functioning :compko: it wouldn't go right :really: Then I lost consentration and drove:  untill lap 11 when I improved a bit and lap :cflag: when I scored the best lap :sweatdrop:

Accepted. But I always thought (and told) that there are two stupid rules in GR: not to cross the pit exit/entrance line and not to hit pit crew. :2c: :taped:

I don't like that rule either, but it's in regulation so we have to respect it.

Surprise in Monza. Mszostus missed his first Pole because of the
earlier login of TuomoH. Therefore Pole again to McLaren - Congrats :bg:

Same between Akouk and Reh. Akouk login 40min earlier.

We take the Quali Track with hay bales again for the Race to avoid
cutting discussion in the future. Seems better, than sharp checkpoints
with risk to miss one.
And please remember the white line at pit exit!
