Your mother being Polish does not make you Polish. You are only Polish if you were born in Poland, and/or have become a Polish citizen. ;)

Depends on laws, also being born to two citizens on territory of other state may give you parents' citizenship etc etc. ;)

Oops, my fault. But why did I believe that Gera is from Germany? (Maybe because there's a city somewhere in Thuringia. :P)

It is confirmed: Bulgaria will participate at RoC teams cup, even if they don't secure a second bulgarian for the team.

I am interested in racing for the United States (I would hope my ToM/GWR placings for Nov/Dec would qualify me). When do I need to decide if I'd like to participate or not?

Currently we are still at pre-signup, expected to be ended this weekend. After that I'll make an election show, after that will I post the actual mailbox, where you need to send your confirmation. After that I'll send you your login infos and you will have 2 weeks to have your races in nations competitions. After that (or inbetween) the drivers champ pre-signup will be held, and you will again have 2 weeks to race, after the nations cup has been run down.

BTW confirmed nations and first post updated, hopefully everyone will like the current state. ;)

If I understand correctly, I don't need to give an official decision until invitations are sent out?

(Also I'm curious since there might be three of us hoping to represent USA).

The team consisting from ivaneurope(Bulgaria) and akouk(Greece) will be now known as Team Balkan in contrast of the geogaphical locations of both countries from the team.

I may take that questionable sentence as a serious challenge for the RoC

But concerning nationalities, it's more likely to see a Polish driver in a German team than an Austrian or a Swiss. Due to immigration and so on, I would rather expect a Turkish or an Italian guy in a German team. These connections are stronger than those between Germany and Austria or Switzerland albeit the same language.
