I'm exhausted. My hands hurt like a hell and I had six major wrecks, so I'm out of contention.

Had a solid performance, a silly error saved as 01 rather then DWMT, I can only wish no penalty for this!

Good luck drivers

Race done.
Fingers hurt.
2 major incidents.
About a minute of login time is lost for finding a glass of water.
And the upload goes slowly.

Hoping for the best. :worried:

Mu neck hurts, my fingers hurt, my back hurts. :bg: I wasn't good at all, unfortunately. 3 NWPs ruined my strategy (which now seems quite bad :sweatdrop: ). Anyway, the race was great experiance. And I want moar! :hiya:

To reward you guys (and myself of course) after that looooooong race, I present you guys:

A shiny new homepage! :P

(Don't worry, it still uses the same design engine, so stuffs won't be messed up. And if you're still seeing the old layout, refresh the page or clean your browser's cache. It should do the trick.)

Since others are talking about their race, I thought I'd post too. I'm happy about my performance. No big incidents, managed to use exactly the planned pit strategy and was consistent enough I think. Hands didn't hurt at all which was a surprise, this was actually way more fun than I thought beforehand. :)

The deadline has passed a few hours ago. :D

Madd Dogg is currently checking the results at the moment, but I'll do my best to help him. :)

Anyways do not expect a rapid job with this amount of races and this race length :D
Yep, cuz we have got 21 races to check! Thanks for the attendance for everyone (:

On the other hand: epic race length is epic.

All in all we'll do our best to post the results and the replays as soon as possible but don't be surprised if it won't happen until tuesday evening.

Or maybe some unofficial results, as I understand you have to verify every driver and it's over 7000 lap to go through.

--- Double post! Double post! ---
...but anyways: we've finally got the results of the Dan Wheldon Memorial Trophy. Pretty close fights and kinda messed up results ahead!

Download the replays here*!
[*The replays have been uploaded temporary to Herbal's site due to some FTP-connected-problems in my dorm.]

And also check the detailed results, cause there's nothing what it seems! :ouch: :o  :cool2:
I mean the .ini problems still caused complications and i could not merge all the replays - only the rest of them. On the other hand there were some penalities also. Sorry for them but they were needed :shake:
So I'm really happy because of the result of our job. And it was also a great pleasure to me watch you guys as having fun here.
Good luck for everyone in the future. Let's meet on the next MRF event :) :cflag:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
And of course don't forget about Dan and those other racers who gave their lives to their passion. We'll miss you all!

I had fun. Thanks for putting this on.
Fitting that a British driver won this event. Congratulations Rich on your win :bg:
And three Liekki racers in the top 5 :). Ivo, I knew we were going to finish close together, but not that close! Awesome finish. Good job team :bg:.

To everyone else. Congrats on surviving such a long race. I'm pleased to have participated.

I'm glad I survived this race. That was a tough event, hope more endurance events get organized in the future - I don't have time to organize big things like competitions any more :(

Congratulations to the winner and every driver for the remarcable effort :bg:

---appeal for penelty removal---
I ask for my late submition penalty to be removed.
I stated with my file-submition email:
Sorry if the email comes a few minutes late, but I had a couple of failed sending attempts with outlook, so then I used the webmail client.
As soon as I finished my race (straight attempt, no restart :) ) I loaded the files to Outlook for sending.
But (not often this happens) internet connection was bad that day and Outlook could connect to mail server because it was timed out.
I tried twice to load the 2Mb email but failed. That cost me 2-3 min.
Then I loaded the webmail client which worked, but I had to wait another 2-3 min for the file to upload before I could hit the "send" button.
And on top of that, after the transmition completed I noticed, that the server clock was 3 min ahead of my computer clock, which means that the send-time signature of the email is not correct (in relevance to the actual time I had spend).

I think you can verify that the save time of the race files are on time. They should be as I didn't take any brake during the race, apart from a couple of instant pauses every 100 laps during pit stop to restore blood float to my fingers :ouch:

So please consider removing my penalty.

Congrats to Rich.K, that was fast. :bg:

And great work my fellow Liekki drivers, I didn't dream of a result like this.
Btw, could we get fastest lap times of everyone, I'm very interested in seeing them?

@akouk: Your race is under reconsideration. The decision can be read in a few hours here.

Well... that was quite expected. :D

Anyways, thank you guys for your participation in this compo. Really, this competition wouldn't be this successful without you awesome guys. :)

See you in the next MRF competitions! :flip:

Well done drivers! Great race.
Got to be one my greatest victories on generally, great race with TuomoH, quite amusing watching our strategies throughout early stages of the race! :bg:

And thanks to the guys at Salo racing for the invite into their team, 3 top 10 finishes, solid performance all round I say!

I had a good feeling about this race, hopefully I did Dan Wheldon proud, R.I.P.
