Ladies and gentlemen!

Just because of the fame and fun of our last event Miskolc Racing Foundation decided to continue this idea what is more extend it in an EPIC way!

"We never made a promise that there will be another competition similar to DWMT, but currently we feel like having the need to torture each other's fingers in yet another 100-kilometre endurance race, so let's just get into it, shall we? >:)" /Resi/

Let's see what we've got than. Five events and all of them are up to 100 painful kilometres! Four of them will be race events on well-known and/or fun and/or simple tracks and there'll be a mid-season TT event too. And of course we'll have 2 weeks to practice before each deadlines. The rules and the pack must be familiar: they're just almost the same what you also used in DWMT. Yep, formula cars and IZOD-IndyCar AIs are back!

You like it? Let's see the details than!

You'll do better with using normal instead widescreen version of Carrford (better looks 4:3 zoom used in 16:9 than 16:9 zoom in 4:3).

C'mon! "Alone in the Desert", pay attention! :D That's just somekind of Dakar-feeling. And also need a lot of concentration since it's a TT and also a track with an ultimate length.
Without kidding: I've already tested it and I can say it's not that harsh as it seems.

I'm thinking about it. But I'd only change if there will be an urge for a pack-update. By now it's okay as it is, since I just can't see any tough differences between the two versions. I'll keep it in my mind anyway (:

Yes.
100 km alone in Algeria = suicide. IMHO. And I prefer more free time between races. 100 km isn't a piece of cake, you know.

I kinda estimated, that the 100km Alegeria TT will scare people, when I saw the it in the 1st post, but I find it quite interesting challenge (very different from the oval-endurance style of running hundreds-times 2 curves, but rather Le Mans-endurance style) and am ready to try if it will stay in calendar. I on other hand have big doubts about fun-factor of the Cayan Lake and Irreal, I think both of the guys created circuits with much more exciting layouts than these 2 circuits. That's why I haven't signed in.

Cayan Lake is well-known track and this was one of the most important things while we were editing the calendar.
Irreal has pretty nice rhythm what spares you from the each-of-hell. It is also an important aspect in the case of the race events.

Double post combo:

We decided to update a bit the calendar and extend the space between the races and increase the login time to two weeks.
We would like to avoid this:

The concept of this championship seems interesting and everything, but I'm not joining because of the track selection. In my opinion there are a bunch of challenging, awesome tracks for endurance racing out there, but Cayan Lake, Irreal, and Carrford don't really fit IMO. It would be ok to have one or two short/oval less challenging tracks, but I think it's too much. And Algeria... nah...

That's precisely what I've meant earlier by mentioning the calendar. Neither I would be disappointed by a nice roval with a banked curve (in 2nd round optimally).

Annnouncement.

Starting from tomorrow until Friday, I will be away for a school trip. I may be able to watch the forum for updates, but I won't be able to update the website and entry list. Well, I tried to update them a few moments ago, but I was having some problems with my DNS, so some websites (including the ftp server) won't load. :(

I'll get them updated (including the delivery of login details) as soon as I arrive back home on Friday (03 Feb).

Sounds like fun, thanks for the PM. Haven't played GR in a while so the first race will definitely be a disaster lol.
