Congrats to ECOlogic Racing Team for their well deserved victory :bg:
Scorpion, it would be fair if you could post in result table a reason why a certain driver has received a penalty.Honestly I don't know why was I penalized in monza(my fastest lap was clean as I remember).I know that even without penalty my position would be same but I would like to know the reason so that it does not happen again.I hope you understand.

Me to! In first race I accept the penalty, but in this round I don't know why I should be penalized! :|

Sorry, but this image isn't making much sense to me. It looks like the legal and illegal areas randomly change around the turn. Can anyone else make sense of this? :anyone:

I agree, that image is just plain silly. Especially as there's a bit where the two yellow dots are right in the middle of two sets of blue dots... xD

What?? That must be a joke! :angerstorm:
I will add some pictures tomorrow. That is no cutting, that's normal racing! :talkth:

Edit on 18th April:

I added a zip, where you can see how I drove in my best lap. So in picture 2 there is maybe a bit cutting, but I have no big advantage, because (see in pic. 3) I flew over the sunk tyre. The rest is really no cutting for me, because the kerbs belong to the circuit (definitly!!). :judge:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but normally the rule is that it is legal, as long as two tyres of the car are still on the track, including kerbs.
This does not mean that you have to apply this rule in your series, Scorpion, because you're the boss here. :wink2:

Among the alternatives below , I think that what we all want to know is :
- We can move the car with two wheels on the grass.
- We can move the car with 4 wheels on the grass.
- We just tangent curve (with no wheels on the grass ).

sorry for my bad english.

From the picture it looks, that (according to his interpretation of shortcutting, which is binding), the inner wheels can be max. on white line, not more inside (grass or anything other).

I prefer GRO's to 'put at least 3 wheels out of the track in places where you might get a time advantage ("shortcuttable places") is considered as shortcutting. ... Kerbs are considered as part of track.''

But guys, bit more patience, it's not easy to manage a compo for first time. :shhh:

Thanks for the clarification, Trigger Happy. I think I see it now, it makes more sense with what you said

So is it now 1 wheel off or 2 wheels off for not getting a penalty? Because your image seems to tell me that you musn't get more than one wheel off, while Ivo's quote says you musn't get more than two wheels off. :o

Only 1 wheel off the track = penalty.

So the question is: Do kerbs belong to the track or not? :?
