Yes, the Hotlap works the same as a regular race or TT. You log in, run your race, and send the files. As long as I have stated that submission is open for a round (right now I will accept rounds 2, 3, and 4), you may run your race for that round any time up to the date stated as the deadline.

If you are lapped by AI cars, you will be placed at the bottom of the finishing order

Round 2 is complete, I will try to post results sometime tomorrow. All 9 drivers logged in, but I only received 6 files Login is now open for rounds 3, 4, and 5. Remember that round 5 is a HL round, so only 5km and all settings except damage and fuel load are zero. Don't forget to reset these setting for round round 4!

Congrats to the winner... kuba! Unfortunate for Alonso, he had to run an extra lap since he missed a check point But he still pulled out the best lap of the race. And with that mistake, we have a new points leader: kuba. Both of the Holdens from Razgriz Racing were absent, despite having logged in.

LegoDino77: Late submission (sorry, mate, I know you had computer problems, but I still have to enforce the rules I would penalize myself if the same thing happened to me. And you only lost one spot because of it, anyhow.)

Zips, merged replay (minus LegoDino77, his file did not have a replay for some reason), and timer attached. I couldn't fit all the files in two zips, so Ivos (Trigger Happy) file is the third separate zip.

BTW checkpoints - I opened the track in TE before test round and was a bit shocked, the author had no clue in that time, what's point of checkpoints (like placing tons useless of them on straights or in curves), so I was taking a care about not missing them in my races. Very unfortunate for Alonso.

Also, a point of note that I realized that I haven't put anywhere else. You may not pit during a hotlap round, if you do you will be sent to the back of the pack. And the time penalties are a bit too harsh for hot lap rounds, therefore the penalty time will be divided by 5 on hotlap rounds. So, 30 seconds become 6 seconds, etc.

I'd logged in and tried to run but the AI made me crash in those not-very-well-placed concrete post three times in a row.
Then I gave up.

I believe that the same happened to Harryson because he was complaining about the AIs and the concrete posts too at Saturday.

Well I made a silly mistake and ran a little bit wide in the first corner and couldn't turn into second one so I went very far of the track.So it had nothing to with fortune, it is a clear drivers mistake.Considering the time I had lost I'm very pleased with the 4th place and a FL.

Just did my races. You should delete all cookies (use CookieCleaner or sth similar) and restart your browser after your first race, otherwise it could occur, that you're getting logged in automatically when you click on the login link. Good luck everyone...

There has been something screwy going on with the login, it appears as if it is recording the time as half an hour before the actual time of login. I don't know what the issue is there.

Congrats to the winner, kuba , who also retains the points lead. The other podium drivers, coming in 2.82 and 3.77 seconds behind respectively, are Alonso and Reh . Congratulations to all drivers. There are no penalties to report in round 4.
