Having finished a carpack specifically for this AI tournament, I thought it might be fun to start this up publically.
Multi-Discipline Championship as it's name implies is a championship spread across more than one race type, in fact, three: Timed Rally, Rallycross, and On-Road.
However, instead of participating as a driver, you play the role of a team manager.
Features:
- Multi-discipline championship, spread across rally, rallycross, and on-road.
- Drivers whose skill will change depending on the discipline.
- Driver contracts and cars with differing performances and costs.
- "Perks", which help the team out if a certain driver is hired (ie. one driver reduces costs of car purchases, another boosts his/her teammate's skill, so on, etc...)
- Spending cap to prevent people from spending big for both a skilled driver AND a powerful car.
- YouTube vids of each race. (!)

MULTI-DISCIPLINE CHAMPIONSHIP - OVERVIEW

Multi-Discipline Championship, or MDC, is a championship spread across three
different disciplines of motorsport. Teams are given a maximum spending cap at
the start of the season to prevent investment in overpowered drivers and cars
being paired together.
GENERAL RULES:
- Teams start the season with $350,000.
- A team can consist of up to three cars and drivers.
- Teams may hire and fire/sack drivers during the season.
- If the team sacks a driver, they will lose any points earned with that driver
- Teams CANNOT change cars during the season.
- Teams may use different cars for each driver but CANNOT change the car before
each race.
- Each event type has different points scoring systems, refer to the specific
rules for each discipline.
- Contracts are FIRST COME FIRST SERVED - so grab the good drivers while you
can!
- Teams should list their colors and team name.
- Two championships:
Driver's Championship (highest points total)
Team's Championship (highest AVERAGE points total)
- You are eligible to sign up any time during the season.
RALLY-SPECIFIC RULES:
- Each driver is given a solo run through a stage.
- The winner is the driver with the fastest overall time.

- The 18 drivers are split off into random groups of 3 races with 6 drivers.

- Drivers that advance on from the quarterfinals will be put into 2 groups of
6 drivers each.
