And this time I drove like a "bird"... through flying over the kerbs every lap. Disaster...

But the championship is so close! FogoRJ (62), Alonso (59), Akouk (56)

In practice I enjoyed the track a lot but then in the race I didn't find the rhythm at all and had problems with the AI. As result, my race was slower than any of my practice runs. :kickcan:

After a bad start (I lost maybe 3-4 seconds with the AIs) I had quite a good race. ;) Not expecting a lot, though.

My race was not good either; especially for the race the AI changed their pit tactiks which caused some irregularity :?

I've got problems with login.

It says me:

Sorry for the issues, I have fixed it, I hope all of you have still got time to make your races. I just forgot one character in PHP :rage:
If anyone has taken a disadvantage from that and couldn't make his race, you can still do your race until tomorrow 16:00 GMT. Sorry again for the troubles. :?

Thanks, I needed 30 minutes of extra time. I had a little AI trouble, but having only trained and raced in one day I feel really happy :)

Alright, the results of round 5 Road Atlanta are here! The two top guys drive in another class, just watch the replays  The team champ has been yet decided, but there is close competition for the driver's cup. Not only the current leader can lose his position, there's going to be very hard competition for the 4th place... :yummy:
Now it's time to login for R6, a thirteen-lap race at Lost Heaven. Please be careful not to wallbounce

Just a quick note, one driver can't do his race in the deadline, so I decided to extend the deadline by one day (now it's 10th Dec 2012 24:00 GMT) :)

So, that's it! Here you can go to the results page to see the results of R6, but you should really watch the replays of Lost Heaven first! :yummy: :yummy:

Congrats to...
FogoRJ :winner:
Alonso :silver:
akouk :bronze:

Congrats to all drivers who have scored some points
I hope you all enjoyed the championship :bsmile: And I apologise for the mistakes I made, after all it was my first competition :shhh:

I would like to hear your opinions about these two things: (a) can there be something improved for future competitions? If yes, what? (b) would you participate in a second season, in case I'm going to make one? And what about the track choice? :cool2:

AI setup can be improved. In some races (like last round) I spent lot of time in a limbo, no AI around, so had easy ride. On contrary if would be bit slower or faster, I'd stuck between them and lost much time, so the distribution of AI troubles wasn't spread among drivers equally or progressively (with highest amount of overtaking to fastest drivers to lowest for slowest). I think the narrow window of of AI setup is the guilty.

And I can imagine longer races (up to 20 km), if 2 stops would necessary again, the stints weren't very long. And final suggestion, if deadline not on Sunday but on Saturday, you'll possibly have a part weekend for work on results, so may come a bit earlier. :)

Anyway, it was very good compo!

Congrats to fastest drivers, especially to the champion! :bg:
