Hi, everyone, here is my next NAGRCA sanctioned compo. It is an idea similar to ROC, except instead of racing the same track over and over again with different cars each time, this will use a spec car for every single race, and the races will be held on different tracks. The first round will be a qualifying round in which your best laps are added up to get your total score. The brackets will be arranged based on the results of the time trial, with seeds being awarded based on how well a driver has performed in the qualifying round. Then the tournament starts, where you will be racing man to man against one opponent on the same three tracks, except now total time doesn't matter. Each individual track is like it's own race within the round, so whoever gets the best time on that track will win that track. The driver who wins at least 2 out of the 3 tracks will advance to the next round, while the loser will be dropped into the loser's bracket if there are enough drivers to warrant a loser's bracket. So, you can have a very bad race on one track, but still win by excelling on the other two. This will continue on until only two drivers remain unbeaten, and they will face off in a round with 5 tracks to determine the IGRT champion. Sounds good? Then don't hesitate to sign up!

To sign up, simply write a post containing your nickname, team, nationality, and car colors (000/000/000 000/000/000) in this thread. You can enter as a privateer if you wish. Teams will be limited to 2 drivers. When you sign up, I will PM you a password for the login (if you have participated in a previous NAGRCA compo, it will be the same.) Signups will be open up until the completion of the qualifying round, so you can still sign up even after the login has opened for qualifying. After qualifying is over, the bracket will be set and no more drivers will be able to enter. Any driver who signs up and does not complete their qualifying round will be placed at the bottom of the order for seeding.

For the races, you will drive two laps on each of the three tracks. The better of the two laps will be your time. There is a total of 18 tracks that can be used in the season, depending on how many drivers there are not all of them may get used, or some could be repeated. I will list which tracks will be used in a round here on the thread before the round starts, this is not meant to be a surprise compo.

At this point, I cannot tell you what the exact schedule will look like for the rounds. How many weeks this will take will depend on how many drivers enter the series. Optimally, I'd like to have at least 8 or 16 drivers. I can tell you that each round will last one week, and the target date for the qualifying round will be from November 18th-November 24th, with the first bracket round taking place from November 25th-December 1st. This could get pushed back a week or two depending on the number of entrants.

Be sure to download the official compo zips. One contains the car, game, and proper settings for the series. The other has the training tracks. I hope people will sign up and enjoy this compo, let me know if there is any information that I missed.

Also, managerial note, we are at 15 entrants at this point. If we reach 17 or more, the field will be knocked down to 16 after qualifying with the slowest drivers being eliminated. Additionally, would anyone be interested in doing a nations/team cup kind of thing after the individual tournament is over? We have enough drivers at this point to make that worth it, I think.

And also, I have finalized the tracks for each round. They will be as follows.
