TuomoH has not yet officially signed up for McLaren. From his surveys I know that he wants to participate so I reserved this place for him as long as there are no sign ups for McLaren (therefore the brackets).
But of course you can still change seats when TuomoH has made his decision.

With sincere apologies to TuomoH, I would like to step out of my McLaren seat. Looking at my school semester I believe I was over ambitious to jump in so quickly. I may or may not continue later as a privateer of some sorts (if that is possible), but I will decide that when the time comes.

Well, let's get started ... with the pre-season practice run.

The session will be held in sunny Jerez. This is the first time you can drive the new 2012 car, which has been flown to Spain in a green pre-season livery. The test also gives you the possibility to get used to the all-new login tool. You can choose your own settings (qualifying or race); the login tool will suggest the race settings.



I will publish the currently fastest lap times on a regular basis. If you want to repeat the session (or if I want you to repeat the session), tell me and I will reset your login.

Here are the detailed steps during a session:

• (1) Browser: Browse to the login website
  (2) Tool: Log in
  (3) Tool: Choose a session
  (4) Tool: Choose the file "GeneRally.exe" within the game pack
  (5) Tool: Start the race (this is when the login is registered)
  (6) GeneRally: Check settings, drivers, track
  (7) GeneRally: Race
  (8) GeneRally: Create screenshot AND replay after the session
  (9) Tool: Finish the race

Please report any bugs.

All registered drivers will receive the login data for this session shortly. Registered drivers are included to the "Teams and Drivers"-list on the official website without parenthesis. The login website and login data will be different during the regular 2012 season.
