Introduction
GTCC tries to give back the feeling of real touring car races, thanks to the famous reallife circuits, the possibility of using different settings and the wide selection of manufacturers. We're going to have 10+1 rounds, each consisting a short race (10 km, time trial) and a long race (20 km, race). The essence of this competition remains: the ballast system will be still in use, this means that depending on your latest results, you will receive extra fuel mass, up to 200 kg.
Fortunately, things are about to change. As my host will switch to paying service, I've asked Ivo to ask myself to the GRMFed team, and for this, we've decided that I should make a cleanup on the website engine, so after Ivo's instruction the website has been completely rewritten. New colors will come to the site, first on my part, with the usual green-silver combination of mine.
New will be the sponsorship, instead of fuel type. This will be more complex, but I can promise that it'll be fun too, and also spending more time in car editor, as I'm going to make some artistical impressions of your cars, showing your sponsors. Please, don't make my job easy, I want to play a bit between exams in June...
Copied from Da Rulez:
And about the meanings of requirements: you have to fulfill them in the next 5 rounds once you've contracted the actual sponsor. Meeting these will result in giving you money in-season, not meeting them will result in... nothing. Some of the wishes you may see on the sponsors list:5. Team may make contracts with sponsors in time of signing up the season or before taking part in the an actual round.
6. Each team may use up to 12 sponsor points for contracting sponsors. Points are marked in the sponsor list, which is available in this link. Not all points are required to be depleted.
7. Team may spend maximally 8 of his 12 sponsor points for contracting third-classed, four-classed and fifth-classed sponsors.
8. Team earns money by fulfilling basic requirements of sponsors listed in the sponsor list (if any requests are). Team may earn additional money from his sponsors by fullfilling their bonus requirements.
9. Earned money may be spent on upgrading of team car(s) - once at sign up and twice during rest of season. The technical sheet describing options of upgrading is available here.
- color(/color/color): this means you have to paint your car with at least one of their permanent colors, but of course you don't need the whole car to be painted in those colors, for third class 2 polies, for fourth class 4, and for fifth class 6 polies for them are enough.
- car longer/shorter than x: x means the Z value in car editor.
- (nationality) car, manufacturers group/name: mostly they follow the actual ownerships, however Saab is counted still to Ford, just like MG is in BMW, and Toyota means also Subaru.
- quota time: before each round, there'll be given 3 lap times to meet, depending on the class of your sponsors ($$$, $$$$, $$$$$). This means, if the average of team members' fastest laps is faster than the quota, you get a good point at your sponsors. Meeting them enough times will result in coal rain.
- other requirements, but they are clear enough also in the sponsors list.
However, if you still have concerns about the system, don't hesitate to ask me, as it's my job. I'm more than happy to help you out, because I know how complicated stuff I did create...
