Golden Horseshoe Challenge is a fictional event held at the Nigemy Horse Race Facility. The Challenge lasts three days and it is held over a weekend in March. The challenge consists of Official Practice on Friday, Sprint Race on Saturday and Main Race on Sunday. The winner will be decided by the combined results of Sprint Race and Main Race. Thus winning the Challenge doesn't only require speed, but also consistency. Winning also requires good nerves, because in Sunday's Main Race each rider will have only one attempt compared to Saturday's Sprint Race's three attempts. Who will be man enough to meet all the requirements set by the Challenge?
Schedule:
Day 1: Official Practice 13.3.2014-20.3.2014
- In official practice will be ridden a 1 lap practice run on the Sprint Race course once and a 5 km practice run on the Main Race course once. The times of official practice don't count to the results. Participating in the official practice isn't mandatory.
- In Sprint Race will be ridden a 1 lap race run on the Sprint Race course 3 times. There will be 3 different login links in this event, so you don't have to make all the runs at once.
- In Main Race will be ridden a 5 km race run on the Main Race course once.
Short Version of Rules:

Thanks
Thanks to MASA for the horses and to Black Rebel for the sounds.
Thanks to Trigger Happy for showing the way with his Grand Steeplechase of Pardubice competition.
Thanks to myself for the track.
Also thanks to TuomoH, who promised to ban all GRIF members that won't participate in this compo. I really appreciate that you're helping a fellow countryman to gather a big number of racers in his little competition
If there is something you don't understand, feel free to ask me. If there is any differences in information between this post and the website, you can assume that the website has correct information. But it would be still good, if you let me know about it.
You can start joining now and don't be too afraid to join, even if the horses would feel hard to control. It's only for fun, not serious racing. Like Frank Zappa singed: "You'll love it. It's a way of life."
