Okay, I've got round 5 logins up and the results of rounds 3 and 4. Sorry for the long delays, guys. I've been a bit busier than I anticipated when I originally scheduled this compo, so I probably have no business running it. I will do my best to get the results of the last 2 rounds up in a timely manner.

Sorry guys, I still haven't updated the login. I'll do that very soon. I'll probably do the resuls from rounds 5 and 6 at the same time. Sorry again for the delays.

Last round done.

BTW I wonder how the team standings are calculated? According to rule "Team points are the points top 3 finishers from each team" I calculated team points for each round:

1-Faerie: Team Hannu 8 - Team Jukka 12
2-Casedure: Team Hannu 10 - Team Jukka 11
3-Tibrotney: Team Hannu 10 - Team Jukka 11
4-Ladu: Team Hannu 9 - Team Jukka 11

Which in total gives Team Hannu 37 - Team Jukka 45.

What am I missing?

It does not include the drivers who did not start in a round, so if only 2 drivers from a team started in a round, only 2 drivers contribute to team points.

What? Why? This sounds really unfair, we (Team Hannu) suffered in round 3 just because we had 3 drivers and Team Jukka had 2. Each team should sum of 3 drivers in each round, if not enough started, points should be calculated as in drivers standings.

That would make the best strategy to win simply not driving...

You know, I didn't think about that. Probably because I'm used to regular systems where if you don't drive you score nothing, and so it doesn't matter. I didn't adjust my thinking to a golf-style points system. I shall readjust the points according for the final totals tomorrow. I will do my best to get the final two round results posted. Oncw again I apologize for all of the delays. School has taken up a big chunk of my time, more than originally anticipated.

No need to apologize, it happens.

About point system - why did you decide to use golf-style one? I thought you are fan of it.

Okay, good news! I've got the final results and standing posted! Congrats to the winners and the champion (guess who :P ). Note that the team points has been changed to reflect kuba's suggestion (which I should have thought of in the first place  ). Don't forget the lower score is better :P Thanks for hanging in there with me, I hope you've enjoyed the race. I'm looking forward to having time to properly run a series over the Summer. Maybe I'll see you all managing a team in NAGRCA GT, if not then perhaps in whatever normal compo I run over the Summer (any suggestions? :D Perhaps GP Legends S2, or IGRT III, or some other series that you'd like to see?) Thanks for racing, be sure to leave any comments below :bg:

What kind of magic gave XYY 2nd place in front of boblopette at Flores-Henshelm?

Thank you for making this championship, and all other guys on tracks. Personally I would like to see next season of V8s the most, then Legends and last, not least, IGRT.

Cheers :bg:

Oh don't worry, I plan to run it to the end unless everyone hates it :D Hopefully I'll be able to do it the way I want with full commentary on the entire race weekend and videos of every race. Like a full broadcast.

Thank you puttz for organizing another quality competition, it felt good especially for the circuits, which I found challenging but without too much stress :)

I think I have a suggestion for the next season(s) of GP Legends too, I taught this one some time ago: since I liked the idea to replicate a particular Formula 1 season, I thought that maybe every season of GPL could be organized with a specific season as the "theme", without sticking to the 60s and doing a season of the series based in the 70s, another in the 80s etc (but, of course, no need to change the format, which was ok for me with circa 6 races). I'm saying this because I found that some past F1 seasons are replicated almost in full in Generally (for example, for the year 1987 there are both cars and circuits, and so on) and also because the first season was really great to me, palettes cars and circuits gave an incredible mood to the whole series, so it would be good to have a "replica" also for other decades! I hope it's a good idea :)

I was actually thinking of doing that, maybe I can put out a poll a little while before I officially announce it to see if people would like to do the 60's again, or move to a different decade such as the 70's (if there's a decent carset out there, which I'm sure there is).
(Off topic, we should have a GTracks type thread except for cars, maybe call it GCars :D . Then if people are looking for various [rwl] type cars, they can go there and look).
