You have to start from last position.
Am I right?

No, why would you think that?

In rules there is a line: "Starting order - points" - when you do it you'll start from first position.

It's ready since the creation of this topic - if you want to join you have to sign up. You drove in last round so practically all you need to do is declare which team you want to represent in this round.

First week on the dry lake

Post by kuba »

During the first week on California's raceway 21 drivers have signed and we have seen 4 official attempts.

The guest star of the round is Frenchman Jo.sk - GeneRally wizard, administrator of GeneRally World Ranking, 4 times World Champion and holder of 9th position on points classification in GWR, last time seen on track in July 2012.

Hopefully more traffic is coming this week - it's 12 days until the deadline of the race and one full weekend to drive - if you won't have time in last days of August plan to race during next weekend.

Good luck everybody, see you on the track.

The start for the race will be very very complicated, the AI's are malicious...they do anything to win the position.

Last week at Laguna Seca

Post by kuba »

We have entered last week of racing at Laguna Seca. It's still very peaceful at the track, hopefully it will change very soon.

Deadline of race is on Friday 23:59 CET, Hotlap ends 24 hours later and Timetrial another 24 hours later. You can drive until results are published, but after the deadline you're doing it on your own risk.

The plan is to publish results quite soon after the deadline (within hour), but it might delay because of real life activities.

Login done.
2 years without playing, it was not so easy, then I needed to train myself this morning.
I made some mistakes and I have some problems to pass the AIs... but I beat my training fastest lap during the login.
I hope not too bad result :sweatdrop:

Feeling really relieved that there are no bad lucks that strike me like the last round. Finally besting my nervousness when driving the Hotlap and TT. My Hotlap is more than expected and so did my TT, yet the only problem I have is the fact that occasional nervousness struck me that I had to do a mistake I shouldn't do: cutting (sometimes I'm nervous at every login race, maybe because of my fear of late submits... :( ).

Overall, I really love this track and now I've known the best line well, thanks to my knowledge of the track through different video games. Hopefully I can reflect all those best runs of mine on the race (which I should do tomorrow, hopefully).

I despise my Race for three mistakes; an unnecessary cut, a bump to the Turn 8's soft wall, and the last lap mistake. They cost me a valuable time! :headbang:

This isn't as strongest as my practice run, yet it's good enough. Had I not make those mistakes, my run could be better though. -_-

I'd predict myself that I would finish all results one position or two below Top 50%. Hopefully it's not worse than that... And for the winner, maclape. But the most important thing is that I'm all for popcorns to see a battle between Hermes, Alonso and maclape.

Of course you can - welcome!

BTW for 99% results from a race will be shortly after deadline (Friday 23:59), results from hotlap on Sunday "morning" and from timetrial on Monday afternoon.
