Welcome for my 1st Championship. The Nostalgia Cup!

This is a Championship, which is following by the spirit of Generally. We're racing with updated cars from Update Original GeneRally Cars 2011 (LINK) (General) on mostly updated tracks from Original Track Update Project 2010 (LINK). And there is no Login!!

To sign up you must post:

1. your Nick
2. your Nationality
3. your Team (or if you want to drive as Privateer, write only Privateer)
4. your Colors (in 000-000-000/000-000-000 format)
5. your Number (2-99, no. 1 would be reserved for Champion, but he needn't use it)

Example:

Nick: RobertRacer
Nationality: Germany
Team: Nostalgia Cup Works Team (2nd seat is open)
Color: 000-255-255/255-255-000

The car to be used is ''General''.

Settings for the game are:

Tyre wear: 15%
Fuel wear: 10%
Fuel mass: 75kg
Damage: 35%
Race length: 10km
3 AI's.

RobertRacer99, you have that explain the rules of the compo a bit clearly, remind the 2nd golden rule for make a funny compo.

2. Explain the rules of your competition clearly. People will not join, if they don't understand something crucial part of the rules.

I know, the 1st race is in 5 weeks, but you can sign up here or even make your race(s) now. Or just give feedback.

This is my 1st compo. I'm giving my best, but without experince I can't reach the quality of other compos (like GRPL WRC or others)

Well, low level of interested might be of few reasons: right now we have Formula Cup and Endurance running, SGP and WRC just started and GTCC and F1 starting very soon (plus Rookies championship, GP Legends ending and GRID to fill gaps in GWR calendar). That's a lot.

I think if you'd move the championship few weeks after end of Formula Cup - only one non-login championship running right now - you'd have more people interested joining.

In November last year I prepared 8 round long championship GRID: Formula, but haven't found good time to start it, as all the time I believed there are already enough championship running and staring new one would have much sense.

As for me, I don't feel nostalgia about original tracks. Most of them are crap and that's why we had a couple of Original Track Update Projects. Also I promised myself never participate in non-login championships. So I can't participate in this champ, sorry.

I have decided to postpone the competiton to a indefinite time.

I started a poll, too, to see, which tracks YOU want to drive. At the end of the Poll, if the competition will start, I will use the voted tracks.

Ok, it's looks like, the interim result is clearly. I have already made a alternative pack, if we really will drive with updated tracks.

Changes to the original pack:

-Races 1 and 6 (Plante and Santafest) have been replaced to updated Mondega and updated Snoogy.
-Races 2,3 and 5 (Algeria, Tusaye and Finland) have been updated!
-Race 4 (Surkit) is without any changes.
-Car is updated General

After a short discussion with zgr I decided to move (again) the Championship to 2015 to avoid too much competition . New starting date is the 4th January.

And in the next season I want make rules like in the ''IGRL'' (International GeneRally Racing League) with CarEditor painted cars etc.

For this season, the original Rules will be kept. S2 will be a ''Reset''.
