Race of Champions 2015 [Race] [Login] - FINISHED!!!

Welcome to the

Race of Champions 2015!
In cooperation with GRMFED

Credits for Gzehoo, -Jimmy-, Areen and Maciej1 for the tracks and for Gzehoo and Masa for the cars.

This is a GR-Version of the Race of Champions (with login. ) and it's split in 2 parts, a Wildcard-Qualification (Road to Wembley) and the Main-Event (RoC).

The number for the Race of Champions is limited to 16 drivers (Road to Wembley isn't limited), follow drivers will qualify: (Official list+''You are qualified'' PM's in January.

Notes:
-If some driver will qualify with 2 or more ways, he qualify over the best championship, in all other ways the 2nd will be moving up.
--If the driver will qualify over GWR, he will take 100% that way. In all other ways the 2nd will be moving up.

*Because Alonso already qualified in a another way, Kuba would have been qualified over that way, but because he also qualified over a another way, XYY get this place.
**If champion will qualify over GWR, the next possible driver will qualify to the RoC

1. Settings:

Tyre wear: 28% (RoC: 15%)
Fuel consumption: 11%
Fuel mass: 75kg
Damage: 35%
Race length: 10km (RoC: 4laps)
Starting Order: points

In Road to Wembley you must use the AI's (AI1,AI2 and AI3), in RoC you must use RoC AI.
In Road to Wembley the Super GT cars by Gzehoo and in RoC the KTM X-Bow by Masa will be used.

6. Penalties:

6.1.1 Shortcutting is not allowed. Shortcutting means, all 4 wheels are inside a corner and the white line.
6.1.2 Wallbouncing is not allowed.
6.1.3 For both= 1st time Warning, all other times Penalty depending of the offence.
6.2.1 Late Login=1s Penalty for 20s late.
6.2.2 If this delay is caused due technical problems (pc-crash, not working login) and I'll be informed, I can make an exception
6.2.3 After 7 minutes late=DSQ
6.3 Wrong car in ''Road to Wembley''=1st time Warning, all other times 5 second Penalty.
6.4.1 Wrong Settings:
6.4.2 If it's disadvantaging you=No penalty.
6.4.3 If it's advantaging you=DSQ
6.5 Modifing Car and/or Track=DSQ
6.5 Modifing files (as known as Cheating)=Permanent DSQ

7. Login:

7.1 Deadline is at 23:59 CET at the day (22:59 UTC)!
7.2 Login time=Race time + 4 Minutes
7.3 Last login closed!
When you're starting in the A-track, you have to use the A-Track. If you're starting in the B-track, you have to use the B-Track in.
7.4 Files (Track+Screen+Save) must be sent to czrtgr@gmail.com

I don't like the amount of non-login competitions we have currently. There is a niche for them but it isn't for me, i get that some people like it so i don't take part in them and don't complain too much.

But if you're making a compo with the theme of finding the best GR driver it makes ZERO sense to make it non-login. None. There's a reason why Jo.sk values login drives more, folks.

Sorry Maclape, but I didn't know how to make login system.

But it's only for this time. Next time it will be 100% login. If I will in this time learn how to make a login system, it will be from me, if not, someone else will organize it.

Login system from this forum is probably easy. You need only MS Office and hosting with PHP.


I don't use this, bacause when I started GRTCC I didn't have MS Office. I wrote own LS.

FRUKIScze offered me help; I accepted. So, thanks to the cooperation with GRMFED the RoC 2015 will be played with classical login.

It makes a huge difference - with non-login the one with the most free time will win since he can drive again and again. Make a mistake and you can just restart. With login even the most trained driver may make a mistake and finish at bad places.

It makes a different if you make login or non-login. In fact, many good drivers don't drive in non-login-competitions (maclape, Mr. J,...) but when you see my FormulaCup, there still many drivers competing and it's so much fun...

My opinion is, that in non-login-competitions the best drivers win, because they have the chance to improve their best race, in login-competitions you can make one mistake and your race is done...

But, that's just my opinion... everybody have his own But for this compo login is the best way

If one of the qualified drivers post, that he won't drive in RoC 2015, the next possible driver (in best case the Runner-up) will take his place. If he didn't say it and he didn't participate, his rival would have a Freecard. It's very important to confirm/reject his start.
