Good to see a lot of top drivers taking this compo seriously!
Beside ACM's performance and maclape's +0,47 with AI fight, the most impressive for me was Rudy's "shot" :bg: I wish I could do like that, but even what I've managed took a lot of practice...

That's what I thought as well, maclape :D I got into the low 8.6x in practise, but in my login I lost 0.16 to my practise time....
And I was happy with beating 9 seconds... I need to practice more for 2nd round.

No replay file for hotlaps, Mad Dan? Watching side comparisons of drivers' best laps, inspecting where they gained and lost time is always interesting.

Worse then I expected. :weep: Yes, I'm slow at the moment, or maybe I just have problems with the Formula cars. :( I'll try to be better for the next race(s). :shy:

I will try to get those best laps from hotlaps and merge them somehow, this evening ;).

 I wasn't brilliant myself either. What ACM (and maclape in the race) did is just incredible. I had quite a lot of 8.56 in my practice runs but 3/100s quicker in 5 laps of hot lap is beyond anything within my reach.

:shaking:

Thanks very much. I might not quite get what you exactly mean, though. I guess the best thing about my attempt was the spontaneous idea to push the files into dropbox after 2 crashes.

I meant this:
RudyOosterndijk wrote:Ough, I'll give it shot tonight shortly before the deadline.
Impressive result, considering lack of practice.

Ah, got it. I had an hour combined yesterday. And last weekend a test drive for about an hour right after I downloaded the pack. I don't know how much time you all spent but I immediately felt comfortable because of the Formula.

You appear to have undertallied the total points for Croatia Racing Team and Lambda Wintersports in your team standings image (which should be at 39 and 9 points respectively). ;)

I wonder how kuba created his hotlap replays for GRID and how difficult it was for him to do.

This is what you look for: Download Savegame (P1-4)

I could make all the other savegames in a second. Just hand me the relevant data, please. (Not via mail, though. It still crashes everytime.) :P

With the trk->gam option you create a 1 lap (fastest) replay of every driver. Then you merge them with the create tool.

Yes, unfortunately and without any further "adjustment", all the cars look the same then colorwise.

Not your fault - the car is really tricky - it's kinda easy to drive, but hard to drive fast. Every millimeter counts.

Weak HL from me this time, but a proper race. GL, guys!

Terrible, terrible race. Crashed with AI at the beginning and had to repair. Then when sending files, I uploaded them to mail, but not send them! I have discovered my unsent mail after 20 minutes

Files sent.

Not the outstanding pace I was looking for. Right now I'm just relieved to get my championship run through the door.

I've just noticed that you got many nationalities wrong in the results tables (especially GBR != GER) :D

That might be because of the excel I used :D I just pressed enter after the first letter to let it finish the nationality :D but yeah thanks for noticing :). (I hope you can deal with that for now :D )

this time I'm definitely more satisfied with my login, even with little practice: found a time under 7 secs in HL (actually, even under 6.9x :rainbow:) and a good pace in race (+1.0kph than expected). Really enjoyed this short compo, having no tyre/fuel consumption allowed to concentrate exclusively on the driving and to be sinuous in curves, which to me was essential - especially in race, having some tough AIs back!

@Dan: I think I might have swapped the screenshot names while packing the zip, sorry :shy:

I am sorry but I didn't make it home on time from a birthday party. I guess the winner will have lapped Hakkarata in under 6.65s and won the race on an average speed of 132.x kph. Otherwise I might have stood a chance. :D
