Alonso told me that his computer had broken last weekend. If that had happened a little earlier, we would have tried to postpone the British GP and the summer break would have begun last Monday.
I am sure he will be back as soon as possible.

After I missed the deadline of Q this week and so started from pit lane it's better than I hoped, mostly because a lot of extensive misfortune of others, I guess (Alonso's machine, mistakes in re-setting of settings etc).

Thank You! But You've also did a very good job! First time that both of us are at the podium! It seems that we two (and maybe Kuba, Fiolek or Trigger Happy) will have a huge battle for the third place, the so called "Best of the Rest"! ;-) Let's race ;-)

As you see, you see nothing.
Ferrari has edited the footage, so nobody sees Alonsos driving skills. :bg:
But we still think, the commentary of the lap is very spectacular. :)

Important news: I'm ready to relinquish my spot of car number 77 in PGR F1 as long as there is an driver interested. From now on I'll reduce my driving duties and give the management priority.

To clarify it: Fiolek remains part of the Ivaneurope Motorsports Williams as driver of car number 55. Car number 77 is availlable for any driver

One fact: Eventrough, GR Driver qualified for the top 3 in qualifying the first time this season, he wasn't able to be the best german driver.
Congratulations to Maclape and majortom for their outstanding performances!

Dry weather and the usual dry weather settings.

So don't forget to change all cars back (shouldn't be necessary, though) to their dry version and set the right palette.

Practice tracks will be coming shortly.

Moderate race from me with one major mistake when overtaking, where I've lost 1.5 sec. Beside of that, I think that Zeltweg is so far the most driver friendly track of the championship (especially when comparing with that bull :taped: track of Silverstone).

Hello!
I'm pretty new here. I remember browsing this place a few years ago to download some random cars and tracks, but I've become more and more interested in actually trying to compete. I have no idea how skilled I am precisely, but I'm surely gonna find out. =3

This championship looks very interesting! So I'd love to participate in upcoming races, if that's possible (I think it is).

Nickname: Aluce
Nationality: Image Netherlands
Number: 37 (Assuming this is free for me to choose)
F1 Constructor: Toro Rosso (if possible, I really don't know what this means exactly for the competition)
GeneRally Team: None, I'm new here
Email: avdg.lucerna@gmail.com

I have read the introductory post explaining how competitions work, but please bear with me and my newbness. I'm guessing I need to download particular cars and tracks. I'm going to look for them now.
I'm also assuming I cannot use Login on the PGR F1 login screen until I've been registered there.

Hi Aluce!

First of all, it´s great you signed up for the championship.
I hope, you´ll stay longer than just a few races, because we like to see new drivers compete. :bg:
Hope, you´ll stay with us for some seasons.
I´m excited to see, how skilled you are.

Of course it´s possible to participate in the upcoming events of this season.
You can drive in Toro Rosso, because the second driver won´t drive, as it appears.
In Toro Rosso, the teams constructor name is Skill Racing.
You can argue with your teammate Rennfahrer, who is my brother from Germany by the way, about the name of GeneRally Constructor.
Either you change it or leave the name as it is.

You may choose your number, that you´ll have your whole career.
So, you may not change it again.
Maybe you like to take your favourite number.

You´ll get your login datas via private message by our race-director Majortom.

Welcome.

BTW, I'd a very good race (a few errors, but still over 180km/h). I can have my 1st podium of this season. :)

Thank you all! ^^

I've received PMs from Rudy about the championship and my details. I'll be in Red Bull with number #22.

After slight confusion about how to use weather conditions appropiately, I'm testing out what times I can get on rings and compare them to times available on the site. I have no idea how good I'll be under the pressure of only having one attempt. We'll find out :D

:welcome:

regarding the race, I'd wish there were still wet conditions (my QF login was 0.2s worse than practice time), I have no chance for points with dry track since I can't find a good pace this year. in fact, result is: login under 180kph :peacock:

Looking at my list, I have still one wet/mixed race fixed. The rest will be decided by mere chance. Rain should be more likely to happen in Japan, Brazil, Belgium, Sweden or Germany than in Bahrain.
