Got home around 8PM after a 3 hour drive IRL, did around 20 TT laps with the race settings for the first time and then 2 quick 28 laps races with the AI trying 2 (9:44,36) and 1 stop (9:30,86), grabbed something to eat and away I went. All this with a s**tty stream of the Nascar race at Infineon in the background  .

I guess after 8 years it's all a pretty automatic procedure when you get accustomed to the car. Good to see you starting to turn that qualifying speed into race pace :bg: . Watching the replay you had me a bit worried at the end of the first stint because it looked like you had better pace with worn tires but still knew my 2nd stint had been really good.

That's amazing, I mean I play GeneRally since 8 years as well, but only participate in competitions since half of the time. But making a race even like mine with that little practise seems like a miracle to me. :hattip:
On the other hand I'm always surprised about your qualifying performance. But you don't practise much for them, do you?

Sweden and Anderstorp Raceway return to the calendar. We will help you remember what happened the last time around.

Please download the track update! And please take notice that the fuel mass now is 25 kg - so no difference between wet and dry Qualifyings anymore.

You're still making the same mistake in all results about Minardi Jaguara Haas F1. The same with Manor Condor Alpha :shhh:

That's why Maclape is called ''Driving God''
And now we're going on to the ''TopGear award for the awfullest attempt to win his homerace'' The nominees are, all polish drivers in the last round of the Polish GTC2 championship in Poznan, Kuba for being outplaced in GRFC Polish/European GP in Sunlake, twice, and RobertRacer in Road to Wembley in Lausitzring crashing in lead with an AI.
And the winner is, RobertRacer for crashing in PGRF1 German GP not one, not two, not three, but four times.
...yeah, sort of: I am sure that 5-6% is equivalent to what 16% of degradation does in the dry on this particular track. Whether 3% is a great idea, I am not absolutely certain. The plan was to give you a less grippy car but take away some of the worries that tyre management brings along, which appears to be the main differentiator. Strategy-wise, this might wind up in a very one-dimensional approach. But for me it will be quite intriguing to see how those of you perform who found the regular tyre wear slightly too high.

I am not saying this is going to be a test drive on stone tyres but 3% were no mistake in writing either. :)

it's a pity Aluce didn't show up in Q, I hope he wasn't too disapointed with result and didn't give up after the single race, so he'll appear starting from pits. I'd be very curious on his performance in the wet race, when he could learn the race requires from us a different approach than qualification.

I wrote Aluce, that he shouldn't quit so fast.

About my race, I had many problems with overlapping group of cars.
Sometimes I had a contact with one or another car.

But tonight something big should happen, because Maclape is on his way to become the new PGR F1 World Drivers Champion.
As I said on the german forum, Maclape is the Ayrton Senna of PGR F1.
I'm going to write an article regarding the event, the race and the actual moment of Maclape becoming the world champion.
I don't have the best knowledge of writing in english, so as Rudy would like to publish the article on the PGR F1 Website I suppose, he might help me.
So, the article maybe published in the next three days on the website.

I was slightly disappointed, but I knew the results would be more or less like this right after my Hockenheim race.

Real life has been taking some time from me so I haven't practiced nearly enough to participate in the Sweden race. Don't worry, I'm not going away - at least not just yet! I'm a fairly busy person so I won't be driving every race, but will participate whenever I have some time to kill so I can practice the tracks well enough.

What was the right tactic here - one or two pits? I decided to pit two times and with better racing I could have been 5th or 6th. (can't wait to the end of the day to check replays)

The top 5 made 2 stops. Personally I didn't find any difference in time between 1 or 2 stops during the week (133.60 & 133.87 kph in my training runs) but since the AI was awfully bad here I preferred to have better tires to deal with them quicker/more comfortably.

Findind an extra kph in my login run was a pleasant and unexpected surprise tho .

Well, I was going to 1 stop, but because a stupid AI (which was surprisingly Ferrari [90AI]) crashed me on lap 11, I decided to do 2 stops.

Just a clarification of the rules at et exit of Ascari:

Just like in real F1, crossing the dashed line in this particular corner is OK.
