Where is Maclape?

by RudyOosterndijk
Statistics:
Maclape fails to break Rudy's record of 9 consecutive session won. He did not take part in a session for the first time ever.
It is only the second time since 20 May that Maclape will not score all 18 points in a Grand Prix week. The same happened in Germany this year when XYY qualified on pole position.
It is also the first time since 20 May that we see Alonso back on pole position.
For the second time since India 2012 he shares the front row with ex-Sauber team mate Boblopette.
Boblopette qualified in second for the third time ever. Roughly one month ago he started in second at the Grand Prix of Sweden - next to Maclape.
For Trigger Happy this third place is his best result in PGR F1. He is one of those drivers, though, who are quicker over a race distance.

The reason why Maclape didn't drove in the Qualifying is because his engine exploded in the 3rd Practice and went up in Flames. That destroyed the engine (with it's 6 components), but also the gearing, the clutch and the half of the chassis. The damage was too big to repair it before the qualifying. The mechanics work on his Caterham to fix it until the race begins.

No, not really. The pal inside my practice pack should do better:
click
We don't mind if you use the original dry.pal or the tricolore.pal as long as you feel comfortable. The latter is just not supposed to work with any other track but Suzuka.
Thank you!

Thanks, understood, I used the green dry. Race done, not as good as I'd wish.
Good luck to everyone, my congratulations to champions Maclape and Windblitz MS
and my thanks to Rudy and majortom!
Just a last request: Rudy, can we have an updated carpack (either here or in cars subfurum) with both livery variants for McL and Manor, please?

Un-be-live-able. My first PGRF1 victory.
I didn't expected that, but after Maclape couldn't start and Alonso retired I got somehow the victory.
And thanks for this season, but on the Award ceremony I'll be there.

my greatest success ever in PGR F1.
My main target for this season was to score at least one point. But after some races, I wanted to finish this season in TOP10. And dream came true.
Congratulations for TOP3 of this season, congratulations for my compatriots - first time, all Poles finished in TOP10. Thanks to all for great together races and battle on the track.
And greatest thanks to Rudy and majortom for organizing this great competition. I was waiting for this compo for a long time and it's still one of the greatest compo which I've ever participated. I'm waiting for the next season

Thank you Rudy and majortom for great experience. I think that in my personal rating it has a place near GRASCAR/Thunder Alley and JTarJ's competitions.

The next one tonight is going to be RobertRacer. But I am thinking about making it a top7 rather than the intended top10 of drivers that I have already picked. As much as I'd like to put everybody's résumé up on display, there are a lot more great candidates than the possible 7 but I can't see how anyone would vote for them going by rational motives only. Example:
Happy412 was super-strong in 2012. He won the Italian GP and was 3rd in the final standings. 2015 was another strong season (2nd place, 4th in the standings) but this time around, Mszostus was just a tad better in every (statistical) category that I could think of. If you can remember their driver comparison stats earlier this year then you know that they are as closely matched as they can get.
Edit: And here are RobertRacer and XYY.

I've talked to Rudy recently, but it seems, that the planned presentation for our beloved new World Champion Maclape will take his time to be published.
