I couldn't punish them, because it was my fault that rules weren't clear enough, but I can shame them :frying pan: . For the future cases - don't cut turns in so obvious way. After all, the rules say "YOU MAY cut every turn you want, if the TRACK allows it". Track in this case is a concrete path for racing which is limited by stones, tires and so on. I though it was obvious.
talkin' to me   ??

i was really troubled about doing it or don't. But with the rule "YOU MAY cut every turn you want, if the TRACK allows it" I was somehow sure that others would have done it, so i did it myself.
Unfortunately the gamble didn't pay off because i missed a couple of times the checkpoint therefore skipping a couple of laps. My time would have been 13 sec faster without those mistakes.

But I was onest about it in the mail with the time:
notice: i've cut the last corner because in the rules is stated that is allowed.
In my opinion it shouldn't be allowed this kind of cutting, you should modify the tracks before the event.
Congrats to the fastest drivers that managed to go faster without tricks.

Well, the winner too. :)

And I appreciate that. I know both you and the winner are honest guys, so I don't really blame you. I consider this occasion as misunderstanding, nothing more. ;)

Well, I not cutted the track here. Maybe only at the Chicane, but there I also was inside the curbs. That's why I wasn't as fast as you cutters. :P

I was practising "on track" and just before login in I read complete rules and see that mentioned point. I wasn't sure how to proceed, but I assumed that others might as well do what I finally did.

I also expected that track in login might have some extra hay bale to prevent cutting. Luckily all 3 remaining track don't have a place to any abuse.

Question about the next round... the third.
Is the track right? It seems a version of the track with wrong zoom. Can you check?

See attach.

Can you guys be more specific? The only thing I have in mind is that, probably, Xelik looks differently in 3:2 and 4:3 resolutions. If so, than just play with resolutions and that's all.

I checked and it's a screen resolution problem... but only with this specific track, the others three are ok.

in 4:3(640x480 windowed) the track looks ok, but in 16:9 (720x480 windowed) it looks wrong. I will play in 4:3 because in 16:9 (1600x900 fullscreen) the car looks too small as you can see in the first screen i posted.

Guys, don't you read compo manager's posts?

Results of second race are online now. You can watch replays also. Standings are available here.
Kuba is higher in DS than TuomoH because sum of his Cure and Figurate races is better. Buka is higher than RobertRacers because his best place is better

Done my race. I was 2 seconds slower than in my best practise and I lost them during pit-stop. I think pitting might be the key to good results here.

Xelik turned to be surprisingly difficult track for the leaders of the championship :shhh: and so they gave the chance to the rest of the pack. Find out whether those the rest have used this opportunity.

Results of the third race are online now. Also you probably should watch replays also, there were some spectacular battles. Standings are available here.

My GR glitched on the last attemp.
After the race the game went straight to the main menu without displaing the results  so... no time for me this round. I was 5.00 in my practice sessions.

Good luck to everyone else. Hope next season will go better.

Eventually, after 31 laps of musical support by that and constantly shouting ''POWWAR!'' I finished, last.

I had a working day today, so the results came a bit late, but it's still Sunday, Greenwich Mean Time. :) The name of champion shouldn't be a surprise to you as one of the two leaders had had a bad race in Xelik. But still it's worth to take a look at replays and results on web page of EEO.

General standings are available on their usual places.

Thank you people for attending this little championship. I hope you had fun. At least I had - with the least possible efforts for management. :shhh:

See you in next championships.

I was great pleasure to race on those track, even with those cars ;)

Thank you for organizing it. I have one question through - and I believe not only I would like to know - when will be the next season?
