Just an FYI for all as I'm about to do the driver signings, I've changed the formula such that the bonus money over the maximum bonus money is multiplied by 0.2 so that it is less of a factor than the other two categories.

I will also be forming 2 new teams to bring the car total up to 26 cars. If someone wants to join at this point, they can take over one of 5 of the teams that I have (I am keeping Volcano Motorsports and Etech Racing for myself).

You may now make your submissions for sponsor offers, keep in mind their required minimum prestige and the maximum they will pay per race. You may submit up to 3 sponsor offers per driver, you preferred one first. Be sure to list the sponsor offers along with the particular driver that you want the sponsor for. You will only get 1 sponsor per driver.

If you can't get to the positive by buying only the cheapest required parts, there will be a penalty: Your drivers and team members are released from their contracts and you cannot sign them ever throughout the season ("breach of contract"), and you cannot sign any other drivers you made offers to. After purchasing the cheapest required parts, your budget will be reduced to 100 money to sign drivers and/or team members with. You must give a bonus of 12 to each driver, thus leaving you with only 76 money to sign people with.

It's more of a misinterpretation of Team Member salary offer actually. I thought it works the same way as in Drivers tab (i.e., Signing Bonus).

It seems that in the info sheet it's impossible to set my team members to Active, is this intentional?

You should set the round hired column to "0" and the round fired column to "active." I know that is slightly counterintuitive, but I needed to have that in order for some of the automation to work properly.

BTW, the sponsor Akaritech's special has been changed to +25 for a win. It previously was a bonus to research, which I removed from the game this season.

Questions:

Our team sheets have 3 sponsor slots per driver, does that mean we can have 3 sponsors per car?

Does having prestige or personality higher than the "pref" value improve our chances further?

Can we get more sponsors after this point and, if so, how does that work?

No, you only get 1 sponsor at a time. The extra slots are for if you lose your initial sponsor. That would also answer the third question, I think. As for your second question, yes, it does improve your chances.

Another slight change to sponsors to remove research references, Newton Industries now gives +5 for advancing from the heats, and Pixel8 gives 10 bonus for qualifying in the top 5.

Also, don't forget to make your sponsor offers! Just to clarify, each car will only have 1 sponsor. Your highest ranked sponsor for each driver is the one you will get unless someone else outbids you, then you get your second choice for that driver, etc.

Okay, now we're good The only change is that Turbo Cleaners goes to Ion Motorsports, and Josep Lettenberg of Windblitz Motorsports has no sponsor (all three of the sponsors for him had better offers).

Odd, it shouldn't be. I don't remember it doing that before. I'll check it tomorrow and get back (not at my computer at the moment). You sure that the round numer is set to zero on the front office page?
