I can't help but notice everyone so far has built cars that are tuned towards downforce over sheer power, minus Gzehoo's PN4 which is simply balanced half-and-half.

When will someone enter a Nissan with 920 power?

I think it's because it seems like having more downforce is better. I was originally going to go more for power, but after some testing I determined that for my driving style, more downforce gave me better laps. Seems like others have come to the same conclusion.

And what do you think about a possibility to upgrade your car during the season?

I mean something like "F1 token system" which would be based on every constructor's positions during the season.

Of course, it would be possible no earlier than in Season 2017 (as the Season 2016 is the first where all drivers have OP1 cars) and also another condition to add it for IES is a little change in the physics.

(too early for thinking about the unknown future, but sometimes I have a plans about my compos for the next 2 years )

I think no, the drivers who are doing better will pull even further away if they get better cars than others.

I had also another idea:
Am Drivers Standings would base only on results from 6h races.

It doesn't mean that Amateurs cannot start in Sebring or Le Mans.
All races would be counted in overall Drivers Classification, but for Am Drivers Standings only results from 6h races would be counted.
Amateurs will be able to join longer races, but without counting them for their sub-classification.

I just don't want to force anybody to start in the 30- and 60-minutes races, where are no more than 5-6 drivers - although it would be good to see a lot of drivers on grid, even in shorter races.

to avoid a situation where 80-90% of all drivers use the same car, I decided to make a simply rule: maximum 3 teams can use the same car (it will go also for GTT 2017).

At this moment Lambda, Wulff, Lynx and Banshee is used by one team, so everyone of these cars can be used by no more than two other teams.

That's a good way to promote having a diverse grid of cars and encourage more people to create their own car rather than just one or two cars dominating the grid (see recent seasons of GRTCC).

Windblitz-Motorsports is announcing that for the IES 2016 season, their drivers RobertRacer and EA pivoa will drive with the MCar P16-OP1.
