So the faster and more successful in races I'll be, the faster car I can have than the other racers?

In fact, yes. The faster you are, you can update your car. Same with laps in testing, fastest laps and more. But to make it easier for "smaller" teams to catch up, they can earn points by beating a target time or target position. So if, f.e. Team A alawys finishes 1st, their target will be "finish 1st to earn xx CP (Credit Points). When Team B always finishes at the back of the field, then their target will be "finish in the points", next "finish in the top 15" and so on.

IMO winners should receive some earnings, but smaller teams will have the opportunity to catch up.
I hope you understand what I mean

We had an upgrade system in Polish F1 league once, I have fond memories of driving fastest car in the pack :coolboard: Many of the others weren't that happy about that, though

Yea, I can understand why some people aren't happy about it, but I think I give it a try, will see how well this system will work :P

So...after some thinking and low interest in the series, the Formula A 2017 season is cancelled. In fact, too less people want to join and at the moment I have not so much time to admin this series.

Thanks and sorry to the guys who already joined.

I get that too :). Maybe much more simplified championship would be more interesting, something casual you know :).
