An idea about rally, based on Arcade Mode from the game Mobil 1 Rally Championship.

You're starting with AIs which you must "overtake" during the stage.

BUT! the time from stages is not summed up. It only decides about your position on the next stage.

Also, every driver (including AIs) starts the stage with time handicaps, depends on the previous stage.

For example - Stage 1 startlist:
BOT 1 - +0.00s handicap
BOT 2 - +0.25s
BOT 3 - +0.50s
BOT 4 - +0.75s
BOT 5 - +1.00s
...
BOT 33 - +8.00s
BOT 34 - +8.25s
Player 1 - +8.50s
Player 2 - +8.75s
Player 3 - +9.00s
etc.

If you overtake some AIs despite the handicaps, you'll start next stage with higher position.

It's a short event and won't be counted to GWR. Everything for fun and to test the new atypical system.

Looks very interesting, however I will not have much time. Do you already know when will this be held?

Deadline for Qualifs (HL on Perala Cross & Oval) is going to be set at 18th June.
Deadline for all 13 main stages (divided into 4 stints) are going to be set at 30th June.
Next day I'll try to publish results from every stage.

Tyre Wear: 10%
Fuel Consumption: 10%
Fuel Mass: 50kg
Damage: 20%
AIs: 0

Only replays are needed!
Call them e.g. nickname_Q1.sav, nickname_Q2.sav and pack them in nickname_Q.zip

Can't start the game pack once I hooked up to the login system "No supported resolutions could be found"

It happenes every time when I try to extract an new instance regradless of being clean or modded.

I have changed compatibility mode to Windows 7, but kinda odd since some of my old instances work just fine

*darkracer99 - next time make your attempt with "your" driver and on login tracks;
*Marcinho made only 1 lap;

No matter about the start positions, you have to make every stage as in normal rally.
Start positions for the next stage will be decided about time handicaps which depends on your position on previous stage.

But to make it easier, I divided all rally into 4 stints per 3 stages (only last stint has 4 stages).

It's still possible to join this rally - but every new driver will just start from the last position (42nd and below).

I have just finished my rally it was fun competing against those AIs, sometimes I even won .

When we login we need to do all stints, or?

There are 4 login links for every stint, so if you log in to Stint 1, you need to make Stint 1.

Last day for making all stints in Arcade Rally.
Tomorrow I'll make live results.

But remember - you can still make your attempt if login link is active.

I dropped out of the competition for the race win after a big error on Stage 10. Congratulations for Gzehoo for winning Arcade Rally #1.
