I really hate Monza. There's just no way for me to complete even a single lap without errors!
I will definitely need to practice it some more. The other tracks fare well. I managed to run away from the AI drivers this time, although I don't quite get to 1-lap them yet.

Race done (actually yesterday), this time I was pleased with my runs, but I'm not sure whether I'll finish on podium this time, this round was not that fitting for me.

However I've got questions about Thruxton's checkpoints, since they are pretty much permissive (see picture). What is referee's view about this situation? Use checkpoints as they are or there'll be some modifications in the login track?

Monza was PITA indeed, but I managed to make through it without major flaws. Race at Oschersleben was quite fun. Hotlap wasn't great as always. I predict Lorenzo's hat-trick this time, so I actually don't have high hopes for myself :meditate:

I had a look at the checkpoints, you were right Herbal. Thanks for your help :). Login track will have the checkpoints like this:

Forgot about this until I got back from the pub. Went straight to GeneRally with my drunk face and did the login run. :D Got confused for a moment when compiling the files to send them, I'm sorry if I took more than 5 minutes. :ouch:

I was actually quite pleased with the race. Escaped from AIs basically instantly and got to the 1-lapping point, which had not happened prior. The fact that two AIs got stuck behind the wall after the first corner definitely helped with that.

Time Trial and Hotlap went absolutely awful and I will be surprised if I don't end dead last :D

This was my first ever GR event :goal:

Last in the race, while recording the fastest lap, and on the podium for the hot lap... I think I know where my skills lie! :shy:

At Oschersleben you set a lap faster than any of my practice laps, so I'd say it's definitely not bad.

Well, my bests were on all tracks about 0.2-0.3 faster than my attempt's best laps. Actually not a bad attempt for a newcomer at all, you might just need somewhat better concentration at starts. This round's track selection was kind of tough, since there was little to no place for errors neither at Monza, nor at Mallory Park, especially at the hairpin. Oschersleben might be somewhat OK, if you can handle AIs well, but caution was there still advised. I've had real issues the first days, only on Thursday did I become somewhat pleased with my time there.

Nonetheless, keep on practicing! :bg:

Thanks! My practice best around Mallory Park was a 7.74 so I was just over two tenths off, which I'm happy enough with!

Two tenths was an eternity at this track :P

Entered for the final round! I'm horribly uncompetitive at Dijon and while I can be quick at Nurburg I had a bad run, but I think my Thruxton run went decently. With any luck I'll pick up points on the hot lap again. :)

Last event done. Well, I'm not about to shine this time, since I've got a hectic week behind me with Hungarian GP and a wedding of my girlfriend from university. I've enjoyed this competition, thanks Dan for organizing this competition, and getting me into the groove! :bg:
