In addiction to European series, I would recommend also Asian and American series, as two another continental series. Not too much, and it would also give a possibility to find also non-European drivers (even if in Europe there is the most interest about motorsport).

Anyway,

The Series - there will be 4 different series spanning across at least 4 continents. Here is the list:

TCRM World Series - the primary category. It will feature 10 race weekends with 3 races in each (following the WTCR race format). 2 of the race weekends - Nordschleife and Macau - are confimed, while for the rest of the calendar you can vote for your favorite tracks. The voting will be split into two - for European and non-European tracks. The 4 most voted tracks in each category will be added to the calendar.
TCRM EuroSeries - the series will have 8 race weekends and in each one will have two races. All the tracks would be determined by voting
TCRM Asia Series - these series will have 6 race weekends with 2 races in each. Again, all tracks would be as a result from voting.
TCRM Latinoamericana Serie - The series will have 6 race weekends with 2 races in each and will run on tracks (again by voting) in Central and South America.

There could also be a 3 weekend TCRM Middle East as the "prolouge" of the TCRM.

The cars:
TCRM will use the TCR carset (probably by Gzehoo). The cars may have different physics kinda like the OP system by Gzehoo. If the cars have different physics, then BoP system would be implemented. It will depend on the cars' performance as well as the results. The eventual BoP tests would be made on different tracks by GR Tester (our version of The Stig).
The cars would be split into three categories - A, B and C - depending on their price and performance.

Also, I'm looking for driver names for the compo - you can submit your driver ideas here.

Looks like it could be interesting, I will think about joining.

As for driver names, Feel free to borrow some from my management compo, the driver list is here, and there are some more names that could be used under the team member tab: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing
Actually, a number of these came from a list that someone else on the GRIF sent me from another game (GPM2, I think it was?) so I can't claim credit for a lot of these. Also, maybe try a random name generator if you want to get more.

Fake Name Generator or Fake Name Tool are good tools to get drivers names.

I've decided to give the driver pool a nation quota system. Here's the system
Max Quota of 12 - Great Britain, Germany, Italy, France, China, Netherlands, Belgium
10 riders - Hungary, Spain, Thailand, Argentina, Hong Kong, Russia, Czech Republic
8 riders - United States, Portugal, Brazil, Sweden, Finland, Malaysia, Switzerland, Portugal, Austria
6 riders - Japan, Luxembourg, Slovakia, United Arab Emiraites, Australia, Republic of Ireland
The remaining nations will have up to 5 riders represented in the driver pool.

Any suggestions which nation should get more or less - write them down. Note that no nation can have more than 10 riders in the pool.

Also, I may plan two TCRM Endurance races - Dubai and Silverstone if there's an interest. They will follow Gzehoo's 24h format from GEM (i.e. 100 minute session).

IMO Finland and Brazil should have a driver or two more. Also, US could have a couple more.

I will go ahead and throw a team in the ring:

Team Manager: puttz
Team Name: Reizen Engineering
Team HQ (Country): USA
Car: TBD

Also, do we get to choose car numbers or are they assigned? Same question for car colors.

Interesting question - some drivers tend to have their bespoke racing number (i.e. Michelisz uses #5 or Huff #12), but other series (like NASCAR or Supercars) have team specific numbers (i.e. Penske #22). Personally I'd go the NASCAR route in TCRM, because it'd be more convenient to have the teams pick the numbers rather than assigning driver numbers to over a dozen of drivers. The number don't have to follow any order (like for example Team X having numbers 5 and 6). You can choose any configuration - symetric (example #14 and #41), have a common number (#7 and #77), same number in dual configuration (#55 and #66) or any random configuration you can come up with.

The fee system:
All 4 of the series will have at least two type of fees - for individual race weekend and full-season campaign. You don't have to compete in all races which are 70 races in total across 30 race weekends and not to mention the planned prolouge and endurance races. The full season fee will be 80% of the total fee if you pay for the race weekends individually.

Example: TCRM World Series would cost 6000 per race weekend. If you pay individually for each race weekend it will cost you 60000. And that's for one entry only. If you register your entry for the entire season in TCRM World Series you will pay only 48000, which is 12000 less.

As you may be aware the World series would be the most costly, followed by the EuroSeries. Asia and Latin Ameican series would most likely have the same fee and will be the cheapest.

Also I plan for some discounts for hiring drivers with specific attributes. Here are the proposed - Women Power (if you hire female racer; yes, there will be female racers in the talent pool), Youth Energy (if you hire Under 21 driver), Family ties (if you hire two drivers who are related - siblings, cousins, spouses or parent-child). Also if a driver competes on home track he'll have some discount (or even race for free) too.

Okay, I will claim car numbers 19 and 40 if we have 2 cars, 19 if we only have 1.

There is no deadline yet - the carset by Gzehoo is not yet completed and need to sort out the start budget and other stuff.

Also to every team - you can own more than two cars and they don't need to be from the same manufacturer (i.e. Team X owns 2 Audi RS3 LMS and 1 VW Golf GTI TCR)

I'm going to finish carset ASAP.

BTW. I want to reserve #29 and #92 for my team.

Don't hurry that much :D . I'll only be home from June 1-2, until then no chance of doing anything...

That's why I ask... Don't wanna miss the deadline.

Small edit on the car classification: CUPRA Leon TCR goes into Category A, the Alfa will be in Category B. The yet to be decided whether or not to be incuded Civic FK2 (the 9th generation of Civic) will be in Category C. Now, if Gzehoo doesn't make the FK2 Civic, I can use Herbal's Civic FK2 as alternative, but could be resized/modified to fit Gzehoo's design.

If the resize result is good enough I can add up more cars (failed or never materialized projects) and this could add new Category D or re-classify the existing ones. These can include:
Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG TCR
FIAT Tipo TCR
Ford Focus TCR
Skoda Octavia Racing Cup
