The recap is now posted on my blog. Sorry because I only cover front runners, myself, and my teammate, but enjoy reading :D

Haruna Say wrote:Xavelot is a very fast and long track, so AI should not be too big of a problem. However, the hairpin and the upper-left sweeper may pose problems for some drivers. As long as the momentum is maintained even through the hairpin curve, the winning speed should be anywhere from 139 to 143 km/h. I expect drivers to dip somewhere into the 17.0 - 17.8 second range for their fastest laps.
In the sharp corners it's about playing with the point of acceleration and the brake before the turn (brake is not even necessary in all the times - it depends on your way and on your tires). The last corner is a bit difficult because of the fast chicane before. The car in the most parts of the track shouldn't be slid but in the last hairpin. Or I don't know... my fastest laps were those when I drifted without tire-smoke through that corner very close to the sunk tire. On the other parts of the track you need to catch and keep the rhythm of the track. It is not so tire-killing track.
BTW a lap on 17.0 is pretty fast. I haven't ran it yet but I didn't practice too much. What do you think about a 16.xx FL?

Hey, thats starts to get threatening ;) :D
A middle to low 17.xx is possible I think. 16.xx FL seems to be a dream to me at the moment...
But anyways, fastest lap only gives 1 point, constantly fast driving brings 22 ;-)

Hope all that doesnt work demoralizing to others when we are talking about such high expectations :cool2:

im finding this track tougher than the last one, its so fast you need to be spot on each lap or you lose so much time.

At least im hitting the 17's though Luke, hehe :D

Small edit there. It's .COM, not .org :P

Well then, hope the best for next round ;)

EDIT: And I think, this Spa Xavelot track is a little bit easier than last time, but still hard. I got a fastest lap of 18.25 in practice :P

Well, since I am playing on the other internet cafe, which has fast speed and located far away, and the computer I am playing has a keyboard which is.... pretty hard to press, in the other words that the key press is not my taste, I MIGHT NOT RACE AT XAVELOT.

When I'm training in my home, I got 17.64. But when I'm training in my place I am playing now, I got 18.08.

Plus, I have to study for semesters held 2 weeks later. All I have to say is "Good Luck" to my teammates!

Or "argue" too much with the AI like I did :-D
What a crap this time...in trainings I could keep them away quite well but in my race now they where in the way where ever they could be
Well at least I am pretty sure I sent the right screenshot this time. Some first champ points should be possible for me now ;-)

Then I have to actually wait for 10 more minutes before I can actually race :razzbang: :oopstable: :notworking: :stretcher: :weep: :weep: :weep:

Just did my run... almost as good as my best tests... I'll take it :sweatdrop: Of course, my best lap was in my 2nd practice run something like 5 days ago and I still haven't beaten it...

Absolute disaster. Slower (!) than in practice (quicker fastest lap, and a couple laps faster, but generally I was in the 19s!) and to cap that, I'll probably get pinged for shortcutting that hairpin, as I simply could not work out the braking for it at any point. :(

Thank goodness for that, but the fact I was outrageously slow still remains.

My run sucked.

I ran only 17.5 as my best lap, so I think I'll probably be out of the top 10.
