Marcinho should get full points for Nurburgring 24h (13 instead of 6.5).

I wonder also, why there is not written about OP1 classification that I won 10 times in this class and Marcinho once.

Other info about IES 2014: in GT3 class Googol won 6 times, DanRos 3x and Rendy once.

Does anyone have contact with Jo? It's almost a month since he was online last time. I hope he didn't gave up on GWR.

Hello everyone,
I'm alive !!! In fact I've encountered some problems (personal, health, computer, ...) but I found the time to update GWR. I will try if possible to make another update for the end of the month.
See you soon :meditate:

Thanks. ;)

Also, can you make the RoC points results after the gap and not after the overall time?

Hey Emerson!

Good to see you around! You are here in the GWR thread, which is an info thread about the world ranking. If you want to sign up for a competition, just read through the subforum "Championships" and enter one of the many competition threads.

Let's just take zgr's Formula Cup as an example. This is a contest that I would recommend to anybody who is about to start his or her GeneRally career. ;)
In the first post of zgr's thread, there is everything you need to know: which personal data is required, where to download the game etc. You can also directly sign up by posting the required information inside the thread or you follow the link "Join here".
For the rulebook, in this case, you need to check zgr's homepage. Please keep in mind that there is no online mode to GeneRally. So no matter which competition you enter, you are going to race offline and submit your attempts via mail or a specific website.

Have fun!

I'm not sure about that, but according to common sense, giving points for Rallye Monte Carlo Historique 2016 compo is imho somewhat unfair since some of the participants were handicapped by using much slower cars than the others and the disproportion was huge (3-4 seconds/stage).

I'm not agree because the car was not imposed by the organizer.
Everyone could test and choose a car, in the pack, and you chose yours :

If this car was slower, it's your responsability

Merged double reply from Sat Apr 09, 2016 12:04 pm:

I'm preparing the result for March, but this month (like some past months) there was no hotlap event.
Then I propose to reward the fastest drivers in a lap by adding a "virtual" event in hotlap category.

At the end of each month an event called "Bonus Hotlap Event" would be added.
This event would be the result of each best lap in timetrial and race (only for login events).
Points for each TT/R event for the 3 fastest laps :
- 1st (alone) : 5 pts.
- 1st (tie) : 4 pts.
- 2nd (alone) : 3 pts.
- 2nd (tie) : 2 pts.
- 3rd : 1 pt.
- 4th and more : not included in classification.

The results for Bonus Hotlap Event of March 2016 would be :
1) Skyrpon : 15 pts.
2) Alonso : 13 pts.
3) Lee : 11 pts.
4) Gzehoo : 7 pts.
5) Zegarek : 3 pts.
6) kuba/Yankess/Sartalas/Marcinho/maclape : 1 pt.

on the compo each participant should have equal opportunities. not everyone has the time to train

I was aware of the handicap and chose the worst car because I wanted some additional challenge, but some of us didn't realize there were differences between the cars since they were in the same class. Anyway, I'm not blaming the organizer or saying whose responsibility it was, I'm just bringing the question how to deal with compos where chances are not equal, since awarding people in such competitions the classic way just misses the point of making a ranking, which aims to classify GR players' achievements - and what kind of an achievement it is to win in an unequal fight? Therefore the points given for such compos should be imho either diminished or not given at all (or players should be given equal amount of points just for participating maybe), there is actually several solutions among which the current one just does not seem right to me.

So, now we had 2 GWR Driver of month winners, who only won with consistency, and without any wins. This 2016 will be exciting. :misch:

Fastest victory : Gzehoo (POL) (Grand Tour Trophy Season 2016 / Rudskogen), 34637.00 km/h
? SRSLY ? :really:

Also, Rudskogen race wasn't an "endurance" race.

And there should be also Constructors classification (I know, it's unofficial for GWR, but it was in previous GTT seasons).

A little mistake about one race in IES. I realized now that track name is Pukekohe, not Pukehoke.

So... the name of the track and race in GWR should be changed.

Hey Jo.sk!
I found 2 small mistakes in your database:
  • At the very bottom of your "Hall of Fames" page (December 2016) in the rookies column, there is a Polish flag instead of an Indonesian in front of zinc1610's name.
  • On the same page Jefcam is wrongly named the rookie of September 2016. This is because you have separate profiles for Jefcam and Jeffrey on this page, although both are the same person.
Thanks for maintaining the ranking for so many years!
